I squeezed her hand before Dominique pulled me back from her dreamscape. I took a long shower once I woke up for a couple of reasons. One was because my body was really fucking tense after being there. I had never seen the Dreamworld for what it truly was. So, it was unique to say the least. Definitely not somewhere I would choose to be if it was not because of her. Seeing her bleeding out from that beast was enough to make me panic. I was not used to panicking for anything. It was frowned upon in my line of work.

"I will be joining the pack relocation," I said with a shaky voice to the person on the phone. I felt like a cold bucket of water had been dumped on me. On a relatively hot night, I shivered slightly. What is all this? Alex's laptop was filled with pictures of a young female wolf, Elsa, his first love. In some of these pictures, he smiled at the camera. I went through picture after picture, and I could not breathe. "What about your bonding ceremony with Alex in a few days? Are you not supposed to become his mate?" The person on the phone asked.

Yum! Usually, I only got some pieces of bread or when I'm lucky, I got chickens for a day and they asked me to wash over the dish. Some of them even want to hire me but I rejected all of the offers because I was on a search for my mom there. Thinking about it again, how did I escape a wolf yesterday? is it because the dirt and leaves scent still on me? I glanced at the clock beside the air conditioner and it's 2 in the afternoon. Wow! I slept like a dead man. The breakfast hour already passed so I would just wait to eat the dinner.

He frowned. “Yes.” Jun nodded in affirmation. “But, based from Reyan’s letter, aside from their group going to be reached by the moon goddess’ people at noon tomorrow, it seems that their situation isn’t that urgent.” He said. “Thus, I think that they have arrived in the South Kingdom.” He told Mabu, whose expression eased. “Also, they have found horses. Only the South Kingdom’s horses could survive until now without being attended by anyone since the horses were trained to be self-sufficient.” He explained. We slowed to a stop and I felt the car put in park and heard the engine shut off. A sound came from outside the trunk and seconds later it was opening. An evil monster stared back at me with cold vacant eyes. He dragged me out of the trunk by my hair. The pain was so bad I screamed and tears streamed down my face .He started to drag me by my hair. I dug my heels in the soft dirt and fought, fought for my life. I was able to get a hand free from his grasp and swing it around and latch my nails into his face. “You will pay for that," he spat back in my face, with so much venom and hatred. I halted in my efforts. "You couldn’t just leave well enough alone. Could you?”
