"No it's the other way, Alpha Max was mad at him because he mentioned Princess Hailee in front of his mate." “I—he’s—” “You don’t have to fight him,” I reached for him. “Let it happen.” Then, his entire body convulsed. He let out a strangled gasp, his spine arching, his muscles locking up. Leo was pushing through, claiming what was his. And then, Alex’s bones began to snap. He cried out, his hands bracing against the dirt as his body convulsed, shifting against his will. His arms elongated, his nails darkening into claws, his skin stretching, fur pushing through. His face contorted, his jaw lengthening, reshaping into a powerful, fanged muzzle.

The growling was then muzzled, and the Hyena snorted through its nose. Alex hesitated. He looked through its eyes and noticed something different. Its eyes were dark and numb. Then he remembered what Bagdana told him when he asked him whether he used magic. "Leviathan?"

Axel's eyes shone with anticipation. Lucy replied, "I do like cats and dogs. When you take Lion out for walks in the future, you can tell me first. I'll join you as long as I'm free. She gasped, her vision blurring as flashes of images, memories, and emotions flooded her mind. She saw the land as it once was—a thriving, vibrant world full of magic, ancient beings, and untold wonders. She saw the first of the werewolves, their power linked to the magic of the land, their connection to the earth itself. But then, she saw something darker—a shadow creeping over the land, a force that sought to control the magic for itself, to twist it into something corrupt. And in the midst of this chaos, she saw a familiar face—Amelia, her aunt, standing at the heart of the darkness, her eyes cold with ambition.

I was tied to a chair, helpless, as Xavier held me hostage right in front of him with his claws aimed directly at my throat. His heartbeat reeked of blood and death, causing my stomach to turn in disgust and fear. His claws trailed my bare skin, and my body trembled in fear. Aero rushed forward with such speed that I had never seen before or thought possible, his eyes blazing with fury. Xavier sneered, baring his razor-sharp canine teeth. Aero's gaze locked onto mine, and for a fleeting moment, I saw a glimmer of reassurance.
