My Biker Stepbrother, My Ruin
“Fine. I’m coming with you.”
He walked up to me, our heights almost matching. Just as I headed for the door, something on the floor caught my eye — a brown envelope, half-tucked under the welcome mat.
I frowned, bent, and picked it up. It had no name and no address.
I tore it open.
Inside was a folded piece of paper, written in rough, slanted handwriting.
I began to read,
“Do you know what it’s like to love someone who would never love you back? To watch him slowly fall for her till you became a ghost in their story? I watched you choose her, and it wrecked me. If I can’t have you, Jeremy, nobody will.”
