"How do you expect me to know, I would be glad if you don't come" Madelyn scoffed.

I tried to resist, but Amy shot me a glare with her eyes, so I reluctantly took the pack of candies from her. The girls were no longer flocking around him, and I presumed maybe it was a chance fate had given me. As I made to call him, Madelyn beat me to it. “Jack!” she said, and he turned to look at her. But It’s in the cards” She smiles. “Maybe sooner rather than later.” Abe’s head swings in her direction and even with the lights turning low for dancing, I swear I can see tears of joy in his eyes.
