The Guardians Find Out How Old Jack Is Fanfiction Novels & Stories

“They were young. Only eighteen or so. It wasn’t until he was my current age that he realized he needed an heir.” Well, needed may be a strong word. More like wanted, but I don’t clarify that out loud as it doesn’t really matter. “How old are you?” Vanessa asks. “Twenty-nine,” I say. “Jake and Jordan are both thirty.” “And you went to Carnage Island seven years ago, right?” I nod, confirming the history Jordan gave her. “We were all twenty-two at the time. I’m only a few months younger than Jake and Jordan .” They have summer birthdays while I have a fall one. But that’s not important.

But nothing of this would happen. It was already late at night, I stayed next to jack's bedside awaiting, listening to the sound of her slow breathing and the smooth heartbeat and slowly falling asleep next to her thinking about the upcoming day ahead. Tomorrow would be jack's 18th birthday, I have already emptied my schedule to stay next by jack's side, accompanying her so that she won't be alone on this day. And now I am here along with her sleeping self. Jack's PoV

I answer the phone immediately saying the code we came up with so he knows to speak freely “She turns 18 tomorrow she will find her mate at midnight tonight after her first shift don’t do anything yet but keep her close grovel apologize whatever it takes just keep her close” and with that he hangs up leaving my head swimming even more and the anger even more noticeable. The door bell rings and Kelly answers it calling out food and Shannon the omega is here so I put on my best performance and get to work. Nova’s POV

"Naomi, this is for you. This is the key to the greenhouse. You're the owner now. Your mother also left behind a bunch of medical manuscripts, which I'm sure will be of help to you." Naomi squeezed her hand tightly around the key. It was as if she could feel her mother's presence through it. "As for that favor I needed…" Naomi stared intently at Old Mister Hough as he hesitated. "I want you to treat Jack's sickness in secret." Treat Mister Daddy's sickness? In secret? Hold on, what was wrong with Mister Daddy? "It's a long story," sighed Old Mister Hough as he began his long tale. "Jack had a bright future ahead of him. His dream was to join the army and protect his country, but he was kidna

I replied. The guards exchanged glances at each other. Then, one of them went in and returned in a few seconds. “Come on” he muttered to me and I followed him in. Jack was in the sitting room with a young lady sitting on his lap. She shouldn’t be more than 17 years of age. “Alex” he drawled. “what a pleasant surprise. Is there…” “I need to speak with you – privately” I demanded and He scoffed. “Whatever you have to say, Alex, spit it out right here,” he said. “I’m still trying to imagine the guts you had for showing up in my room. Or …are you here to inform me that someone special is dead?”

He brought my hand to his lips, kissing my knuckles one after the other. “Jack…” “Robin.” “How old are you?” I asked, his attention drifting from the road to me. “Are you going to run away if I told you?” he muttered. His voice quivering with worry, concern and fear. “No, I’m not. You already know I’m 24 years, it’s only fair I knew yours.” I said. “You’re going to see me as too old for you” he said, rounding to the front of my apartment. Huh? He had me all night without knowing his age. Why would he think I cared?

A chill runs down my spine. "What...happened..?" I gulp. "Last time.?" Jack bites his lip and looks around. He shows me the scar running from his wrist all the way down to his elbow. I look back up and Jack, wondering what he is going to tell me. "When I was eleven, it happened. My dad was his beta. He went crazy one day and I was going to go show him something that I had made for him. I didn't know he was mad, and he went to attack me but my dad jumped in to keep him from hurting me anymore. I think his nail got me, but it was down to the bone." Jack sighs. "Then he ran off for months. No kind of contact. My dad had to play his role for a long time until he finally came back a few years ago

Jack's curiosity finally found glee seeing that he was finally speaking up but what the boy next asked took him off the guards. "Do you 5hink five years age difference is too much?"

“My first parents were Amber and Nicholas Johnson. They were killed last year in a rogue attack. I’m an Omega. Nobody wanted me. But last time Daddy and Daddy Jill were here, they came with Aunt Sles. Daddy Jill said that he fell in love with me before he ever saw me.” “He did. And I’m glad.” Jack said as he motioned towards a quaint little ranch-style house. “And you can’t tell Daddy Jill no,” she said as Jack smiled as he opened the front door. “Can I go see my room?” “Yes, little lady, you may. Right down that hall.” Jack pointed and she took off running. “I should tell her no running in the house, but I’m excited for her to see her room.” He said as they followed down the hall.

*** Flashback *** “Xander!” Jack shouted. We are at school for the future high-ranking officials of the pack, like alphas, betas, and gammas. “Congratulations to us!" he added. I smiled at him while Limuel was shaking his head. Among us three, he was mediocre. Though he didn’t want to admit it, “We graduated, and next week is your 18th birthday. Surely you’re very excited to find out who your mate is,” Limuel said.
