Beauty & the Alpha

[Alexander] *One Year Ago* “There’s a lunch meeting at one with the health and safety inspector, and another meeting at three with a potential investor.” “Who is it?” Melissa, my secretary, read from her journal, “Mr. Gasser. He’s from a Swiss jewellery company called Majestic Jewels. They’ve opened up a store here and want in on the mining side of things.” “Can you get me some stats on Majestic, just so I know what I’m dealing with?”

Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted

Felicity responded, "Did you see that? It's extremely dissatisfied with the names you're giving it!" Vermont chuckled. "Do you have any better ideas, then?" "We've got to give it a more imposing name that is aristocratic, yet down to earth," Felicity said. "Nikola Blockhead? Or, James the Ruler? Which one do you think is better?" Vermont asked. I am on chapter 1700 and trust me this has to be the only book here that I have not lost interest in,i.e, the chapters have not dragged on and you literally are on the edge of your seat throughout the book. Enjoyed the whole book except the last few chapters.Hope the story doesn't become cliched now

What makes this story good are the characters, mainly the lead characters. Unlike other stories where the leads are usually portrayed as someone omnipotent with multiple hidden excellent identities, both Stella and Keegan have their own flaws and weaknesses, which made their characters more charming

Maxwell tilted his head, looking thoughtful. He glanced at Natasha as if he were asking her for help, like he was hoping she might know who these mysterious people were. He looked like he was giving it a real, honest effort. He stared at the ceiling for a second, searching his mind, taking his time while Tristan stood there, fuming.
