I'd definitely ride that wave while I was getting on my feet and making a name for myself, but it was by no means a long-term thing, especially given the fact that I would be hiding it from my boyfriend.
After getting dressed into my chosen outfit, consisting of a black pencil skirt and white button-up shirt (extremely basic I know), I made my way into our bathroom, opening up my tiny makeup bag. I'd only ever owned the basics; tinted moisturiser, mascara and a lip-gloss that always seemed to be out of date.
