Tom, Morgan, Julius, and Marcus are excited to eat sushi made by the basketball captain. They seem to really like Joe's sushi, even they eat it very heartily. Tom spoke even though his mouth was still chewing sushi. "I really like your sushi Joe and I hope you'll make us these every day." Hearing the cool words from his good friend, Joe immediately protested and put on an annoyed face. "I hope you don't talk like that, I only make sushi when I have free time, I'm not a sushi seller. Dude."

I inquired, my voice casual yet tinged with curiosity. Tiara and Maki exchanged a wary glance before Tiara spoke up, her voice barely above a whisper. "He's... intimidating," she confessed, her hands trembling ever so slightly at her sides. "But he's also powerful. It's hard not to feel a certain... reverence in his presence." Maki nodded in agreement, her expression troubled. "Yes, powerful," she murmured, her voice barely audible over the gentle rustle of the breeze. "But also... unpredictable."

His eyes were a bright pink and shinned around on us as he gave Dmitri's hand a squeeze as he noticed me. "Enemy," Toma hissed. "There's a new person." He halted in his steps quickly. "We're going upstairs." Dmitri looked at him in amusement then pulled him a little closer by his hands. "Don't worry. You'll be fine," Dmitri purred to him. "We're going to meet this new person though." "Only if I get fish later," Toma said. Dmitri laughed. "I'll feed you sushi," he promised him then kissed the top of his head. "That's my sweet boy. You're growing up to be nicer than you used to be, little hellion."

Macken was pleased to feel the classic aroma of zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and cheese blending. Kenny is busy with a plate of grilled shrimp with Puttanesca sauce. Macken raved that the Puttanesca sauce was the wonderful gift he had worked so hard for during a trip to Italy. It is, of course, Italian ketchup. Macken suggested that Kenny try some Puttanesca sauce and then guess what the ingredients were. He tried it quickly, the tip of his tongue gradually spreading a sense of enchantment. Kenny exclaimed: "I recognize olives, capers, onions, garlic, paprika, marjoram, and a little bit of passion so familiar but can't remember."

I turned to her. “Oh well-“ Guilia began but Arianna cut her off with a stare. “I do,” she smiled brightly at me. “Then we will do the freshest catch for nigiri and the chef's choice of maki. And can you please bring the Uni Gunkan Maki for the lady,” I explained. Guilia seemed haughty that I had rearranged the order but pissing her off was one of my favorite activities. “Well since we finally have a hold of you, let's talk wedding details,” Guilia ordered.

Maki looked away and said, "In that case, let's share it together. Give me a sec. Maki took a gulp of the herbal tea and brought her face close to mine. Wait, she didn't drink it; it's still in her mouth! Could she probably be thinking about making me drink it mouth-to-mouth?! I got up suddenly.I need to use the restroom." I made my way to the restroom and closed the door behind me. I could feel the shivering up to my fingers. Dang! I never expected Maki to be this aggressive at all. It's just one surprise after the other. Just what is up with this day?!

**Mia:** “Thank you. It smells amazing in here.” Haru leads her to the table, pulls out a chair. They sit—Haru beside Mia, parents across. Keiko brings plates: steaming rice, miso soup with tofu and wakame, tamagoyaki slices, grilled mackerel, pickled r****h, and fresh fruit. **Keiko (serving Mia first):** “Eat as much as you like. Werewolf appetites are no joke—I remember from Seras’s friends.”

Jerry waves on his way out smiling. Tommy grabs the pizza and puts it on the small coffee table by Tia and then returns to the refrigerator for a couple drinks. Most would expect it to be beer but Tommy prefers malt beverages, his favorite being 'Mike's Hard Lemonades'. He pops the tops and shoots the caps into the kitchen trash with a snap from his fingers with a well practiced bank shot. Tia giggles and says, "It looks like you might have done that a time or two." Tommy looks at her slyly from the corner of his eye replying, "Maayybe."

The little balls sizzled in their trays as the smell of it wafted in the air. Miko quickly ordered a takoyaki - octopus balls - and paid through her DI. The vendor picked out the juicer balls, stuck them onto a skewer, and drizzled them generously with a thick brown takoyaki sauce. Her eyes sparkled as he handed them over. They bowed to each other in thanks, then she walked off and took little bites of her snack. Her EyeCast had caught every step of it, from the moment the food was made, to the point where she took the first bite.
