Marked By Scars, Claimed By The Lycan Novelas e Histórias

Unable to articulate my thoughts, I offer a silent nod, my body language conveying my acknowledgment of his question. My attention shifts, drawn to the wounds that mar his form—the scars earned while protecting me from Fenrir's wolves. Guilt gnaws at my insides—I never asked for his help, and yet he risked himself for me. But he is a Lycan, and Lycans heal faster than werewolves, yet his injuries linger. Why is he not healing?

"This isn't the first time I've done this, you know. Bitten myself instead of marking you when the hybrid gets too strong.” My breath caught, “What?” He pulled up his other sleeve, revealing multiple scars – faded white lines that matched the spacing of fangs. There were at least a dozen of them, scattered across his forearm. "Every time the need to mark you becomes overwhelming, every time I lose control and get too close to claiming you without your full consent –" He traced one of the scars. "This is what I do. This is how I stop myself.” Horror and anguish flooded through me. All those times, all those moments when he'd pulled away from me suddenly, he'd been hurting himself to protect m

“Lira? Bring her to the private receiving hall. We will meet her shortly.” Kai turned in his arms, searching his face. “Who is this Lira? You look troubled.” Darius sighed and helped Kai into soft black robes that loosely covered his changed figure. “She is a female Lycan from a noble pack. We had some history years ago, but nothing serious. Stay close to me when we meet her. Do not leave my side.”

If they want a fist fight I would give them and if they want a wolf fight, I was fucking prepared. “No, My lord, I killed one of them,” he said, raising his pants. There was a deep injury there, even a wolf would not be able to make such a deep cut. “What the fuck, this can't be from a wolf,” I said, bending down to examine the injury, it ran from his knee down to his toe and I could see all his inner muscles. I almost threw up at the sight of it, but I tried to hold it in. “They are vampires, and they are up to a century old, I could see it by their scars,” He says, groaning loudly.

The words were meant to sting, and they did, settling heavily in my chest where the Mate Mark used to burn. I am not a stain, I thought, gripping the stiff brush. I am a survivor. You are just a parasite clinging to a failing Alpha. But I kept the thought locked behind my teeth. Silence was safety. Leona moved closer, her expensive boots clicking against the wet stone. “Oh, and your scars. Really, Esmeralda. Try to cover them. They distress the other omegas. A constant reminder that some wolves are simply born to be broken.” She wasn't talking about the small scars from Damon's previous punishment; she was talking about the deep, faint, almost silver-white lines that patterned my forearms, m

"The doctor mentioned earlier that you have a weak constitution. Getting rid of the pregnancy could kill you." "I won't kill my babies," I whispered, hands protectively over my stomach. "But if you stay here..." Freya glanced around nervously. "Lucas and Mitchell won't let this threaten their position. You know how ruthless they can be." "The Lycan King is your only hope now. He needs to know what his son has done." My heart pounded as I made my way to the king's study, I pretended like I was coming to clean the kings study. The guards barely glanced at me.

It was amusing to watch. I pulled on a robe and sat on my bed before pulling the table to be in front of me. Lucien pulled a seat and sat opposite me. “Eat up, I have a large appetite," I said to Lucien and began to dig into the food. Rather than eating, my mate was staring at me. I rolled my eyes as I loaded up. My body and a fast metabolism, it wouldn't take long for me to get hungry again. “So, what should I know about the Lycan - succubus hybrid that I have been blessed with as my other half?" My mate asked me and I smiled at him.

“Why would he do this?” “Jealousy. Anger. Retaliation. It could be anything.” “He’s been acting differently for a while.” “Sometimes, the matebond has been known to drive people to insanity.” “Insanity?” She mutters, staring at me with her dark eyes. “Where I’m from, Lycans don’t bite humans that they are mated too. It never ends well. The Alpha usually does the biting.” “Oh.” She sits back in the chair next to me. She was small like Elsa, a Wolf, but she didn’t belong to this pack, not truly. Her scent gave her away, it was similar to Elsa’s. But no one had spoken of it.

He stepped closer; the knife hovering just inches from my skin. “You’ll break,” he said softly. “They always do.” “Try me,” I whispered. “I don’t fear you.” “Oh dear, you should,” he responded. His jaw tightened, and for a moment, I thought he would go through with it. But then he lowered the knife with frustration written on his face. He was shocked at how I handled all his threats. He expected me to be begging, but I wasn’t Lyra. Lyra was unaware of the extent of strength apart from the Alpha blood that runs in her vein, there was more to her bloodline. Most wolves can’t take over the human form without transforming into a full wolf except the Lycans.

Harshly pressing your hands on the ground that the small sharp stones started piercing into Skyla's skin, the female Lycan lowered her face to get a close view of Skyla. "You filthy, feeble b*tch! How dare you touch me, resist me, huh!" The female Lycan snarled through her gritted teeth and her fingernails started growing long and pointed and she clutched Skyla's hands so hard that the fair skin of her hands started developing red marks that soon started turning black leaving Skyla in utmost pain. "Aah! It's hurting, please leave me!" Skyla shrieked. Hot tears started pouring down from her eyes. Skyla's cries elated all the Lycans and they started laughing.
