She lifted her head and as her eyes met mine, my heart skipped a beat.
"This one will do," I managed to say, staring straight into her eyes.
A broad smile parted her lips, and she nodded her head in response.
That was the first time we were that close, but the fact that she was drunk made me sad.
"Come on, bottoms up," She said, while I nursed my drink.
"I married a monster," She began to say after about four seconds of silence.
"But the food thing about it is that it'll last for just three years," she said, gesturing with her fingers.
