I thought back. I looked around. We were surrounded. The three silver eyes of the Star-Eater ships were closing in, their violet beams locking onto my red heat. I was a bright target in a dark room. I looked at Rowan, who was watching me through the glass of a viewport. He was safe for now, but the ship was dying. "Rowan, I’m coming for you!" I promised. But the Master wasn't dead. The silver smoke began to pull itself back together, growing larger and more terrifying. He wasn't a man anymore; he was a cloud that covered the stars. A giant silver face formed in the void, miles wide.
