I exhaled slowly. “Ugh.” Then, left with no choice I pulled the door open. Matteo stood there leaning against the wall, dressed in dark athletic clothes. Black tennis shorts. Fitted shirt. His hair was slightly messy like he had already been playing. And unfortunately, he looked ridiculously good. His eyes dropped briefly to my outfit and for a second something flickered there. Then he straightened.

Cold and intense. “Take off the dress,” Lorenzo ordered. I froze. “No games tonight,” he added. “You want us? Show us.” Matteo stepped closer. “Need help?” I didn’t answer. I didn’t need to. My fingers reached behind me, trembling as I unzipped the dress. The satin slipped down my body, pooling at my feet like a promise. No bra. No panties. Just bare, trembling skin. He was shirtless, and I must admit that he was just as well-defined as Ezra, with tattoos adorning his broad chest. “What’s with the hat, Mateo? You look ridiculous,” Ezra taunted. “You’re just mad that you can’t pull off a black Stetson like I can,” Mateo sneered. Ezra reached over and plucked the hat from Mateo’s head and placed it on his own. “What do you think, Vanessa? Who wears it better?” he asked with a grin and arched brow. Willing to join in on their banter, I commented, “It’s hard to say. Mateo is shirtless, and well, that adds to the look.”

We were walking towards the stairs with Matt leading the way when my gaze shifted to the wall and my eyes landed on a large picture frame of shirtless Matthew. He was standing in the surf, with the water up to his ankle. He was only clad in a blue beach short, water was dripping down from his curly brown hair and down to his bare chest. He had a finger pressed on his abs, his lips parted slightly and he raised a palm up to his face, shielding his ocen blue eyes from the sunlight.
