Fighting is what I do best, not marriage or assuming my position of King so soon, but desperate times means desperate measures. Travis pauses before speaking and I'm immediately annoyed by his hesitation. "Spit it out already!" I bark out. He flinches, "Yes sir! Right away sir. Well... erm, there's been a sighting." He stutters out. "A sighing of what?" I ask moving closer to Travis. Ugh it's probably another shark or something. "A ship. A pirate ship. Black and silver sails and a dark wooden body. In.. in Crab Cove." He stammers.

She spat out a mouth full of blood and looked as the rest of the jocks walked towards her. I should have just kept my mouth shut. She tried to crawl away but they met up to her. Tyler kicked her in the tummy and that simple action made blood spring out from Makaila's mouth. They picked her up and held her up, dragging her towards Bethany. Bethany gave her bag to Cassandra and then removed her heels. She used her heels to hit Makaila's fore head causing an ugly scar to appear, Makaila all this while crying out in pain.

“You are…very welcome. I’m glad to see…that you made it.” I smile back. “Me, too.” Icy cold grips my legs as I enter the water, but as soon as I grab Selene’s hand the cold vanishes as her magical warmth flows into me. The ride across the bay is not quite as much fun as my first swim with a dolphin and a mermaid, but it’s still pretty exhilarating. The crossing takes just a few minutes. The mermaids deposit us at the base of a five-foot high rock jetty along the edge of the island. The water is deep enough for them to come all the way up to the rocks, and they quickly run their hands over our clothes to dry them out. It plunged into the very deep ocean until the ring reached the sand. The said ring flashed from the bottom of the ocean and Samantha, the rebellious nymphette, saw it while she was still wandering around. She also noticed the shadow hitting her body, the shadow of a yacht being driven by Daven Craig from the surface of the ocean floating afloat. She was very brave and was not afraid that there'll be any human might see her. She actually went to the one that was flashing in the distance and when she was there, she immediately picked it up and dived away from there.

Keiynan feels frightened as it looks like an enemy’s ship. “Hana, we must get out of here. It must be Captain Black Beard’s another crew ship.” Confident tone of his voice. “Keiynan’s right. One of Queen Cora’s mermaids saw them approaching here on the island.” Chen said. Hana also wanted to go away from that ship but as they all wanted to leave, the ship is already few miles from them.

Without the help of this magical creature, they would freeze to death in the middle of the harsh winter. A LARGE body of water kept crashing from the colossal waves. Malaika had never seen this kind of saltwater before. This must be the ocean. She thought. They were taught about the vast ocean surrounding the island of Virina, but they couldn’t see it because of the wall barrier encircling the two territories to keep them invisible.

My heart ceases to pound, and I realize this island isn't safe. The policeman has every right to fear Hayden Archer. Mermen are massive whale-like creatures. I shudder as I let the reality of the situation sink into my head. The gala I attended tonight was a close to death scenario—I can't believe I made it out alive with a merman being there among the crowd. CEO or not, Hayden Archer is a man I don't wish to meet again. I bet he eats the girls he doesn't enjoy having sex with, or worse—drowns them out at sea without them being able to fight back.

“Here’s the question: What is in the middle of the sea?” His eyes swept across the room, searching for volunteers. After a few seconds of silence, he pointed the stick toward the front. “Hmm… Ms. Crissy Madrid, please answer.” Crissy stood up with exaggerated confidence, lifting her chin high. “Of course,” she said, her voice loud and self-assured. “The answer is fish.” Her friends immediately burst into applause, clapping and cheering as if she had solved a great mystery. The rest of the class stared in stunned silence.

It looked to be a breathtaking sunset. “Can we watch the sunset?” I asked, already standing up. “Of course!” Gabe said, nearly knocking over his chair and taking my hand. I followed him out to the patio and we stepped up to the railing. The ocean sprawled out in front of us, all the way to the horizon, where the sun sat lonely on the water. The sky was on fire, making the incredible view from the island even more breathtaking. A warm breeze blew off of the sea, causing my hair to fall across my forehead. Gabe reached over and pushed the loose hair over my ear. His touch was soft, as if he were afraid I might disappear if he touched me.

They're professionally trained to give you nothing but unconditional love." The staff member's voice came through the phone, smooth and respectful. Yara Medici hummed in response. "I'll move in after I wrap things up here. Thirty days." She hung up and glanced at her reflection. Wrapped in a pristine white wedding gown, she looked almost unreal. The fabric sparkled with embedded diamonds—each one an obvious fortune.
