Midnight Whispers

Midnight Whispers

Mark Favour
We were ready. The ball would start when daylight faded and twilight emerged. I peered in the mirror my ice blue eyes were alert and ready for trouble my hair ribboned down my back resting at my waist. Tonight would be my last in the pack. Vivian was slipping on cleanly polished boots before double checking her silver moon necklace around her neck. Out of habit I played with my own matching necklace my fingers looping around the intricate chain. Matching. A gift from our mother. “Well let’s do the best job we can and then skedaddle.” Vivian joked running a brush through her hair once more.

The Alpha's Bullied Mate

The Alpha's Bullied Mate

The rustling leaves underfoot seemed to harmonize with the nocturnal symphony, the serenade of crickets and the distant hooting of an owl. My destination lay in the heart of this sylvan sanctuary—a lake hidden from the prying eyes of the pack, a sanctuary where moonlight danced on the water's surface. The legend spoke of a magical occurrence that unfolded at midnight, when the moon's reflection created a celestial path on the tranquil lake. A place where dreams took flight.

i hope to read more of this book. I want to know how the pack will treat the human girl, will she accept Cameron, and will she believe him once she knows the truth. also what about your brother will they look after him as well since I know she doesn't want to be separated from him
David Seward
I like the approach of a complete outsider, I'm not very deep into it but I'm intrigued enough to keep reading. the only complaint I have is the nostalgic 80s rom/com feel of like 16 candles mr. popular falling for the outcast girl

"MIDNIGHT'S MARK"

"MIDNIGHT'S MARK"

I shook my head, too confused to speak. “Because the last time a lunar eclipse appeared here, something extraordinary happened. A bond formed between two wolves, marked by the moon herself. We call it "Midnight's Mark". It has not appeared in one hundred and twenty-three years. Most think it’s legend, but I saw it when I was young.” My mouth felt dry. “What kind of bond?” “The truest kind, a mate bond chosen by the Moon Goddess herself, marked on the skin at the eclipse’s peak. Those who bear it are destined for each other, their souls matched perfectly. Such bonds appear only when the pack needs them most.”

Mated at midnight

Mated at midnight

I whispered. We stopped at a red light. My gaze caught on a billboard the size of a building. It shimmered, transitioned—and suddenly, the word blazed across the screen in white fire: LUNARIS. A high-end nightclub. The most elite. The kind only the rich, powerful, and probably criminal could enter. Even back downtown, Lunaris was a fantasy, the kind of place people dreamed of making enough money just to glimpse. The ad shifted. And then his face appeared.

Midnight Queen

Midnight Queen

I noticed how she stopped expounding her thoughts when she reached an aspect of the dark past she didn't want to endure all over again. She nodded, "Goodnight Laila." I took a spin and viewed the room, it is a simple yet sophisticated look, it has an aesthetic of off-white and marble accent. It has a window that overlooks the garden, the view I wanted to wake up to every morning. I headed to the bathroom that has the same aesthetic as my room. After a well-deserved bath, I headed to change into my scarlet red silk nightdress. Once I hit the mattress I escaped reality and into the dreamland.

He Fell in Love After I Got Cancer

He Fell in Love After I Got Cancer

“You’re glowing. Like someone finally stopped surviving and started living.” Emerie looked at her reflection—healthier than she remembered, cheeks touched with warmth, eyes less haunted. “I’m not healed,” she said. “You’re healing,” Mira corrected. “That’s the part most people forget is allowed to look beautiful.” --- The Spark Festival marked the midpoint between summer’s bloom and autumn’s return. Thunder Paw filled with color—drapes of purple, silver lanterns, and tables lined with honeyed pears, roasted roots, and moonberry tarts.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

And the cakes she gets to eat there once a year on the Day of Darkness, when she is allowed to go and mingle with everyone else. “I’m not ashamed, Jesse,” Midnight says, her voice low and dangerous as she stares at him, unblinking. Jesse fights his smile, because Midnight is very adorable when she gets all serious like this. “The people in the Fancy House are real.” “If you say so, Mids,” Jesse sighs, putting forward a few more sticks. But Midnight ignores the sticks. “You’d better believe me, Jesse Sinclair,” she snaps. “I do believe you,” he murmurs, gentle and condescending, the voice he uses when Seraphina tells him that there’s a monster under her bed. And like Seraphina, the tone just

I’m totally obsessed with this book! It’s so well written. The characters in this book are so deep and significantly different from one another. It gives this book the depth that most of the novels lack of. Furthermore, the story is interesting, adventurous, funny yet touching or even scary at times

I’ve read quite a few books on here, both completed and in progress, and this author is hands down the best author of them all so far. Her writing is intelligent and well thought out, her chapters vary in length for the story not for the app, and the plots & character arcs are just… fantastic. 11/10

Midnight Cravings: A Forbidden collection

Midnight Cravings: A Forbidden collection

Authoress Kemiramarked by my stepbrother
Still aching in places no one had touched properly in years. Inside was a single heavy card and a delicate crimson feather. The Eclipse Society cordially invites you to the Midnight Masquerade. One night. No names. No limits. Venetian Villa, Côte d’Azur. 11:00 p.m. Wear the feather. Burn this card after reading. A QR code glowed faintly at the bottom. When she scanned it with trembling fingers, a sultry female voice whispered through her phone: “Come alone. Come hungry. What happens after midnight stays veiled forever.”

WOLVES OF WINTER MOON

WOLVES OF WINTER MOON

Megan Newmanlyra wolf
The forest was alive with silver. Moonlight dripped through the bare branches like liquid frost, pooling on the ground in pale, shimmering sheets. The Winter Moon—the brightest, coldest full moon of the year—hung heavy above the Winterwood, casting everything in a ghostlike glow. Lyra Whitlock paused at the treeline, breath fogging in the crisp air. Her heartbeat thudded unevenly beneath her cloak. This was her last moment alone before the festival. Before the ceremony. Before the pact that would bind her life to a man she’d never met.
