Randi and Jag are enjoying their grandkids. (Sam & Cassie) are still in love and lost most of their shyness. They are proud of their kids Sam Jr, Michael James (MJ), and Callie Mae. Sam Jr. took over Vice President and expert hacker IT guy. His dad taught him well. His wife Maddie is actually the daughter of Ace and Pamela from the Joker's MC. They visit often, now that Maddie is expecting their first grandson Samuel Kade III. Michael James aka MJ became the club Enforcer, Sam and Cassie are proud of him. Their youngest daughter Callie Mae is in training to be a doctor just like her uncle Doc. She'll be the next club doctor.

I asked. Jackson rolled his eyes in that condescending way that I absolutely hated. “You wouldn't know unless you tried it out, now would you?” I gave him a nod because I knew we were doing the D-E-F today no matter what as his plan to completely disarm me one more time. “I suppose you are right.” I muttered. . . . “Mommy, look! DUCKS!” Kelsey pointed at the ducks in the park pond. “Let's feed them!”

I replied with a roll of my eyes. Alpha Cadell held a ball in his very fancy, and extremely huge, mansion. He said it was a celebration for his arrival at the new town. I was sure it wasn't only that. "Just keep your manners. We will be in and out before you even know it." Morgana stressed, and nodded her head at some woman with a winged face mask. It was indeed from Byron, but the message read, "Something came up at work. I won't be home tonight." Right after that, Claire sent me a video. Jason muttered. Jason shook his head. It was just a flash of thought. A monk in the Ascension Realm could not stir up any trouble. Moreover, he didn't find any malice in the bald donkey. Maybe it was just a whim for him to be generous once! This kind of enthusiasm was worth encouraging and couldn't be dispelled. He drove out of the clinic and rushed all the way to Madison. When Jason arrived at the company, Madison's figure gracefully appeared.

Jodi said as she slowed the jeep down. “Maybe it’s Nick,” Jackie said. “In a car? Why would he be in a car when he has a perfectly good truck?” “I don’t know,” Jackie said. “Just take the turn. Maybe his truck broke down.” Jodi shrugged and continued to drive. The dirt road opened up to the docks of the sawmill. Jesse was there sitting on his motorcycle and looking confused. He had a small flatbed trailer attached to the back his bike. He usually carried a load of moonshine in the trailer. Why would he have it out here?

Jackie wanted to consult with Jesse, the motorcycle moonshiner, to get his input on their predicament. Jodi tagged along to his house on the edge of town. They walked around the back of his one-story home to find him tuning up his Harley. Jodi yelled out to him. “Hey, Jesse.” Jesse looked up. “Hey, girls. What brings you over?” They sat down at an old picnic table. Jackie and Jodi told Jesse what happened Saturday night and about Marty Schaffer.
