Then Mia appeared by Ella’s side, dropping into the seat beside her with a glare sharp enough to slice stone. “Unless your reason for being here is to apologize, Sasha, I’d suggest you walk away before I ruin your perfect hair.”

She asked me in a furious tone, "Do you like that stray?" Drake arched his brow in confusion. He reacted by saying, "Don't yell at me, you wench!" "Learn to choose your words carefully and familiarize yourself with who the heck I am!" Bella recoils in fear as she moves backward, as Drake's booming and menacing voice causes her to tremble. She was unable to talk because her hands and lips were both trembling as well as her voice. "I recognize you! You are the Alpha that I am going to marry, and I am so excited about it! As if sensing my wolf's claim, the stranger's head snapped around, their eyes locking onto mine with an unnerving intensity. A single word spilled from their lips, husky and raw: "Mate!" The moment our gazes met, reality seemed to warp and twist. My mind recoiled in horror as I took in the stranger's features—the sharp jawline, the piercing eyes, the chiseled physique.
