Hunter Sullivan was flat on his stomach, staring through the binoculars, his dark eyes fixed on the farmhouse in the distance. He saw Michael Ferguson go to the car again, carrying what looked like a suitcase this time. He looked around and even from this far away, Sully could see that he was on edge, ready to snap.

Sully paused for a second, then shouted louder. "Eddie, do you want to die?! You have twenty minutes! If you're not in Xander's office by then, you're done for!" Without waiting for a response, Sully hung up the phone. Eddie, still half-asleep, paused for a moment, and once he realized it was Sully on the other end, he shot out of bed with a start.
