She stared at him, no response to his comment. "What do you want Mikey?" She asked, arching her perfectly plucked brows. He wished she would stop calling him that. He was seven-teen years old now. Not a little kid, which is when the nickname Mikey came up. Mike bit into an apple that he had in his right hand, smiling as he chewed. What he was about to tell Brooke would change her attitude quickly. It was something they both could be very happy about. Brooke waited impatiently for him to swallow, her pointy narrow nose wriggling in frustration.

They think they are better than everybody else, and that pisses me off. "How will we hide our Pack from Dean Smith now that he knows we move around in the treetops? He will follow our scent," Mikey says. "Miriam can hide our scent," I say, and Mikey looks skeptical. "Do you think she can do it? I mean, she's not good at magic and has learned a lot, but I do not know if she will be able to do a difficult spell like that. It will take a lot from her and her wolves to hide our scent. Just as we approached what I presumed was his locker, a chestnut brown haired boy came into view, he was leaning against the locker, typing away on his phone. "What are you doing here?" Joshua asked his twin brother. Micheal looked up and beamed at him. Then, taking me by complete surprise, once again, he beamed at me. Or at least in my direction. I turned around to make sure there was no one behind me before looking back at him in confusion. He pushed himself off his locker and walked towards me. "Hey, Crystal, right? I don't think we've officially met." He stretched out his hand. "I'm Micheal Melrose - Josh's brother, I mean obviously - but my friends call me Mikey."

Mia's POV: “So, you ready for it?” Mikey asked. “I wouldn't be here if I wasn't,” Jackson said, confidently. “I like that. These are my guys; Shark and Speedy.” Mikey said introducing the people standing next to him. “Speedy is in the race. Shark helps me around so stuff goes according to plan.” Jackson shook Shark and Speedy’s hands. “It's nice to meet you. I hope we have a good race,” he said to Speedy.

I instantly try to come up with a reason for being here right now, but I don’t have one. Then

I smiled, sat on the chair, and reminisced about my time with Mikey. I will tell y’all. It was the best, it felt unreal, because why would Mikey agree to be with someone like me? He is literally everything any woman would, but I saw what he didn't see in himself. He also loved men, but he kept trying to deny it. He liked men a lot, a bit more than he loves women, but he needed some help to believe and live it, so I did that, and my time with him was the best. But, one thing is even though Mikey and I were together he had a crush on Douglas Caden! He has always loved that guy! He was his lawyer and his family’s lawyer too, so I didn't realise, till it was so late.

Mikey curses and looks around but I guess the coast is clear because he slips in and closes the door behind him, "I need you to make my face bleed somehow. Punch me hard." "What?" He asks, looking at me like I'm the biggest weirdo. Mikey is the slowest one, but he always does what I ask, "Fine, I guess..." He gets his fist ready and I brace myself, but right before he goes to punch me, he stops and grabs his rifle. "I think this is going to be easier," he says and takes it off the sling. I don't think he wants to shoot me, so I lift an eyebrow as I watch him turn it around to hit me with the back of it, "Bring your face closer."
