Troy smirked, “you messed with the wrong guy. I’m a soldier and I won’t let you hurt Ela.”
Troy and Ela both shifted and he stood in front of Ela. We were both the same size, but if he was a soldier, he would have way more training than I had. I left when I was eighteen, I had never fought anyone as a wolf. But Milo didn’t care about any of that, going on instinct alone.
Milo attacked Troy, biting and scratching him wherever he could. But Troy blocked most of the attacks and threw me away.
I tried to calm Milo down, but nothing seemed to work. He didn’t care that Troy was faster or stronger than me. He was going to get us killed.
