Chapter Nine Rhea had been in the house all day. Even though it had everything she needed, the routine was monotonous—wake up, eat, sleep, watch TV, repeat. She had grown restless, so to break the cycle, she decided to explore the house a little. Wandering through the halls, she stumbled upon a mini-library. The room was lined with shelves filled with books—romance, thrillers, even historical fiction. She was surprised. Kieran doesn’t seem like the type to read romance novels... so why are they here? she wondered. But she wasn’t about to complain. At least she had something to keep her occupied.
