Misguided Ghosts Novels & Stories

“Let’s loop Mav in and then call it a night.” “Right.” Artemis leans forward, placing his elbows on the desk. “We have learned that the rogues we are fighting…” “They aren’t really rogues.” Milo finishes, clearly impatient and uneasy. “I figured that much out.” I agree. “What I can’t work out is who they are since they can’t possibly be pack wolves either. They are too feral looking.” “Yes, and no.” Artemis winces. “Have you ever heard of ghost wolves?” I bark out a laugh, looking up at the ceiling for a moment. It’s damn poetic how perfect this fucking conversation is going. Of course, it’s the stupid offbeat idea Tate and River tossed at me.

Red mutters, nodding toward the bar. Ghost is hunched over, surrounded by empty glasses and fresh ones the guys keep shoving in front of him like they’re fueling a machine. He just stares into the amber liquid as if it personally offended him, muttering under his breath. I catch fragments: “three… curse… demons… disaster… fucking end of the world…” “He’s struggling,” Red says. “He’ll be fine,” I whisper, though even to my own ears it sounds halfhearted.

Isis finally let out. "Then try again," Carson told her. "Just try it again!" "As I said, little boy, my spell is not working. Someone tampered with the energy here, but I can't tell who or why they'd do that." "Isis, none of this is making sense," Hazel yelled. "So you're saying we're just gonna let a bunch of ghosts kill us?" "That's the thing, deary, the spirits in the Ghostly Plains are not supposed to touch or harm you physically. They torment you, feed on your guilt until you go mad and eventually take your own life," Isis explained.

I began to chant as I felt the blood of Ares mixing with my own until I could feel his power coursing through my veins. I lift my hand and outstretched it until my long black fingernail was technically touching the barrier around the clearing. I watch as the tip of my nails began to bend until it melt. I smirked before retracting my hand. "Ester darling, I see you are not happy that I am visiting you today." I spoke and summoned one of my crows. This one name was Ghost, he had a liking for lost souls that lingered on earth. He could spot them quickly, something I have used him for occasionally when I want to suck some of the souls power. There is nothing more delicious than a wandering soul.

No one could sense his current strength if he didn't mention it. "I'm not, sorry. I just love horror movies and watch them often so I'm a little more courageous." The woman smiled bitterly. "It's alright then. As long as you listen to me, we'll definitely reach the third floor." Spirits and ghosts were directly related to the soul. Despite the layers of illusion around the private paradise of this Black Soul Scout, it was still manipulating souls at its core. "Hm, okay. This is my first time experiencing such things. As long as I can leave, I'll listen to you."

The other ghost frightened and hid behind the white lady. Garfield pondered, "Are they evil spirits? How many and how strong?" The white lady shook her head, "It’s not that they are strong…. it is just…. there are hundreds of them and we don’t even know if they are evil or not but all of them are mischievous and working together!" Garfield was surprised. He was also amazed by the fact that there such place exist and the ghosts led them to that place! He looked at K Whatever who wasn’t even bother. ‘Maybe, this player can change the norms in the reaper society…’ He smiled and followed the ghosts.

Even if she did, she'd blame it on the wind. "Ghost?" Sharon was becoming concerned, "I thought you don't believe in such things?" "Really? Oh, em." Geneva cleared her throat and spoke confidently, "that's true, I am not scared by flimsy things such as ghooosts!" The last word Sharon heard was the word 'ghosts' being screamed into her eardrums before she heard nothing else. The phone had fallen and disassembled and the call, disconnected.

Henry's eyes instantly turned cold, and he immediately led me away, warning me icily, "See that woman in the red dress? That's Player 89. Stay away from her... As far away as possible." "Why?" So, they did know each other. "Her nickname is Black Widow. In the real world, she's a scammer who strips people to the bone. Once she locks onto you, you won't even know how you died." I stood frozen in place, feeling waves of cold wash over me. One was a murderer, and the other was a con artist. Whose words was I supposed to believe? At 2.30 p.m., we left the buffet restaurant. Henry suddenly said, "I've got something to take care of. Wait here for me."

Loren took one of the novels that Ria took from the bookshelf earlier and flipped through its contents. She also seemed to read the synopsis and nodded her head felt content. “Not really just curious…” Ria answered briefly while glancing occasionally at Loren. “Err… Do you believe in ghosts?” she asked Loren after debating in her head whether to ask her friend or not. "Of course. In this world there are many mysteries that cannot be solved by science and such logical explanations. Including ghosts, spirits and other unidentified beings… They must be exist… somewhere…” Loren nodded while looking at the books that Ria had brought.
