I looked at the clock and realized it was already nine I’d slept through my alarm in my exhaustion. “Don’t you have school?” I asked groggily. “It’s Saturday,” Celeste said, as if I should have known this. “No school on Sunday, remember?” Sunday. Right. I’d completely lost track of what day it was with everything happening. “What do you want to do, baby?” I asked, sitting up and pulling her into a hug. “Can we go to the water park?” Celeste asked hopefully.
