Melinda could not care less whether James was willing to listen to her melody. As she took a seat, she placed her slender fingers on the harp, gently plucking the strings of the harp. At that moment, a melodious tune reverberated throughout the area. James was an unrefined brute who had no appreciation for music whatsoever. Even so, he could tell that the tune was melodious. No matter how disorderly that picture would look like, he still longed to see it. "Hello? Who the hell is this?" she yelled, her shriek tearing through his imagination. She looked at the phone to know if she had cut the call without realizing.

My voice blended in with his, creating a beautiful harmony. The music soon filled the room, a sweet, sentimental melody that melted my heart. I felt like I was floating, my worries and cares dissolving away with each note. It was as if the whole world had melted away, leaving only the two of us, lost in the uniqueness of the music.

Melodie hesitated, then placed Jessica’s fingers along the notes. “Not there. You skipped,” Jessica snapped. “No,” Melodie said softly. “It’s meant to falter there. The original tune... it breathes.” Jessica narrowed her eyes. “Play it.” Melodie blew gently. A fragile, haunting melody filled the air. Jessica listened, face unreadable. “Again,” she ordered. --- Nights bled together. “Faster.” “Start over.” “Wrong pitch.” Melodie’s lips cracked. Fingers shook. Bruises reopened. But she endured.

But with the second attempt and with the enough microphone for the both of us to use, it finally went well this time. I must admit. Your voice stands out the most. It got a melody that just makes the sound unique and special while mine was just average and it doesn't got any spark that could bright up around us. But in my ears, they blend a perfect rhythm and melody. Geeze. I just love it.

Because it has become a part of the melody. And they walked on.
