James' smile was wider when he finally heard her beautiful, soft voice. "You're speaking now!" said James, grinning. Delilah was so sullen to hear him. "What are you doing, Candy?" James asked again. "Nothing; I'm just trying Lorde's cheesecake." James's eyebrows rose, and his eyes then glimpsed at the piece of cheesecake in front of him. "You have to try it. Lordes is good at making cakes," James replied again. Delilah just mumbled quietly. James still had the phone to his ear with the side of his head pressed against the plane window.

Caleb asked. It took a moment for the words to register. Caramel? What the hell? "W—what, no, why—" Alice stuttered. Her mother often made millionaires shortbread as a Sunday treat, but she always bought the caramel premade, claiming it was too much effort to make. "Grab some sugar, cream and butter," Caleb ordered. "It's very simple actually, you just whack it in a saucepan and heat it up." She was aware Dylan was trying to get her attention as she gathered the ingredients. He stared at her, mumbling muffled pleas through the homemade gag.

Uncle Chuck who was enjoying hot coffee on the table saw Alicia on the other side, the girl sitting with Ethan. "It's delicious, unfortunately it's too cold to enjoy two iced caramels," Alicia said. It was a sarcastic sentence, because she really liked the caramel ice that Uncle Chuck was selling. Alicia then held up her caramel ice and said, "I really want to eat more ice cream now." Meanwhile, Ethan was enjoying his hot chocolate milk with sweet marshmallow sprinkles without being distracted by Alicia or Uncle Chuck's chatter."

I asked. Marley smiled at me. “Yeah, that sounds nice. Do you have anything other than tea?” “Hmm, I have coffee. But no decaf. Oh, wait. I can make hot cocoa,” I offered. She bit her lip. “Do you have marshmallows?” Her sweetness was so endearing. “I do, fancy ones, in fact.” “Fancy ones? What are fancy marshmallows?” “Ones made with vanilla beans for the really bougie clients,” I said through a chuckle. “So, hot cocoa with fancy marshmallows?”

Penny exclaimed in surprise just then, "F-Fleur only awarded me with Mini Cultivating Pills before, Mr. Wade. I haven't seen a normal one…" "Mini Cultivating Pill?" Charlie blurted, but just the name gave him a hunch. A cup of maple syrup could be diluted into twenty cups of low-sugar drinks—the logic certainly could be applied to medicine too. Hence, he chuckled, "That's not what I'm giving you. It's the Jumbo Cultivating Pill!"

"What is that one?" "That right there is honey lavender with bits of candied almond," the man said. "It’s the house favorite." "I’ll take a scoop of that," she said, her voice already lighter. "Cone or cup, darling?" "Cone," she grinned. I stepped forward. "And I’ll take a double scoop. Hazelnut caramel swirl, topped with crushed pecans and a drizzle of chocolate." "You know what you like," Lena said, nudging me. "I’m a man of simple pleasures."

He walked around the counter and pointed to the chocolates just beyond the glass. "Most people like the peppermint sticks here, but I'm a sucker for those right there." He tapped on the glass and smiled over at her, Kari returning the expression. "What are they exactly?" "They're called turtles. They're found mostly in the South, but we love them here, too. Carmel and pecans rolled together and dipped in milk chocolate." The old man made a sound of appreciation and touched his stomach. "Helps me keep my figure for the kids around the holidays."

"Ta-da! Here you go. Its hot mattang." Cecilia serves a big plate of sweet potatoes pieces, which coated in translucent hot brown syrup made by caramelized sugar, to Mary who look so surprised about her employer's cooking ability. "Wow! How can you make three kinds of dishes made from this fruit, Young Miss? First you plain steamed it, then you baked it and now, you turn it into some candies!"

Perhaps they themselves were curious to see whether I’d manage. And how surprised they were when, instead of the usual crispy filling, I suggested adding caramelized mushrooms! Exchanging doubtful glances, the women nevertheless agreed to this strange experiment—and to their surprise, they liked the result. I chose the most optimal option possible. It seemed to me that anything in caramel would be tasty and sweet, and I wasn’t wrong. The flavor turned out to be quite unusual, but interesting. After making about a dozen of these prepedollies, we took them with us, explaining that I’m a bit eccentric and like to snack on such treats at night.

His giggles was interrupted by a knock. The door opened and the De' Argent's age long nanny wheeled in a large cup of....something. "Young master Arian, your extra large cup of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and mint ice cream mashed with shredded strawberries, blueberries, purpleberries, blackberries and coupled with sweet caramel, mildly sugary honey and specially imported whipped cream with a topping of peach flavour is ready. Oh! And it was deeply frozen by me as you requested." She lightly bowed. Mom Rose's throat went dry trying to calculate the amount of sugar in the gigantic cup! She whipped her head to Arian but noticed he was distracted by something on the TV.
