When I open the eyes it is to realization that nothing has happened. I close the eyes to try once more and instead of transforming I hear Magma's laugh come through muffled from her mind.

I need her to think she has me, so I have to play along with her pathetic attempt to take me out. Mags chuckles. “Here, I thought you were a smart boy, my mistake.” Mags thinks she has entrapped me and that I’m immobilized. She also thinks she has suppressed my powers with her pathetic charm.
