He cornered Camille to the wall and Monika stepped back, bumping into the wall behind her. "It doesn't matter. You favourite boy toy is dying. Choose me." Monika screamed back. Dying? Dying? What is she talking about? Adom felt the world rotated quite fast and Adom nearly lost his ground. He swayed a bit before he had a grip to the wall as a support. "What the hell are you talking about?" Adom shouted.

Monika went on to talk about an unbelievable story about how that woman's family dragged her out at night and tried to sacrifice her. She said they tried to cut the baby out of her and try to use it to track someone down, and from the way everyone was looking at me, I knew they thought she was talking about me being the one hunted. Now I might be detached from my wolf in ways that refuse to let me use my supernatural senses like I should, but I didn't need to smell the lie to know that everything Monika said was false.
