I didn't want to go down there by myself. I looked left and right, desperately hoping for an out. Suddenly the whole room got quiet. I inched my way towards the stairs, my legs feeling weaker and weaker with every step. The queen spoke firmly, yet confidently, "Now, our prized couple of the night, set to unite both packs peacefully: Princess Iris of Sablestone and Prince Leonardo of Hoarfrost." All I could hear was the sound of women's dresses shifting, people gasping or holding their breath. I stared down the long steps.

“Twue wuv…” The *Princess Bride* was one of Clarance’s favorite movies and almost every ceremony had a reference to it. There were a few other references as the three of them exchanged their vows and rings. But the best was at the end when he told the two men that they could kiss their bride. “As you wish.” Jaxon grinned just before he kissed Bunny. “Inconceivable.” Ty said as Bunny turned towards him for a kiss. “I do not think that means what you think it means.” JD muttered and Clarance chuckled.

The palace gates had not stood this tense in years. Guards lined the walls in double ranks, spears gleaming in the afternoon sun. Banners fluttered above, the silver wolf of her family’s crest snapping in the breeze. From the balcony above the courtyard, Elara’s breath clouded faintly against the cool air. Her palms gripped the railing, hidden by the folds of her gown. She forced her shoulders back, her chin high, every inch the princess she was expected to be.

I became immediately unable to think of anything but Riana Park and not in a good way. "My dress. Why is my dress on her?" Shouted the princess in the almost silent room. She headed towards me with undeniable malice and anger. I watched her get close, I watched everybody else look on, like a show was going on and I was the main character, the antagonist in Riana Park's story. I already envisioned what a slap from Riana would be like, I felt her hand come so close to my face when the unexpected happened. A member of the audience intervened and it was not the member you'd expect.

It came like the whispers from the garden of angels. Taking all the breaths from the audiences inside the kingdom’s hall. King Dragon rose to get applauses as his song finished to play. He sighed after faking a wide prideful smile. His eyes were scattering the room, looking for a woman’s figure in a red dress he bought. He returned to his seat next to the hosted King and his Queen, rested his hand on the chin. They were taking seats on the highest row among the other audiences. “Where’s the princess, King Othello?”

’ She earned beaming and nodding from the two girls. After that, the journalist smiled to the camera and then in the studio, two female anchors thanked her. He sipped the tea, thinking perhaps this news program that his cousin talked about last night. Still sipping his tea, he watched the two women on the tv engaged in interesting talk. ‘Let’s read another mailpinion. This one’s subject is, I hope it’s my fairy tale, from Marianne Jones’ The black-haired anchorwoman paused to give her colleague a meaningful look, then she continued to read. ‘Since the Crown Prince is going under cover among us, I think it’s a huge change for every single lady in the country accidentally meet him or befriend

Even though I had training in public speaking, looking at your audience somehow made my knees weak. “Good Afternoon, everyone. I am Bethany Milea Grimaldi, and I want to challenge Prince Liam in a duel. Forgive me, Your Imperial Majesty, for this reckless decision. I beg you, let me fight for my destiny.” The bees buzzed. My family clapped their hands nonstop. I expected my mother to pull my hair out of my stage and slap my cheeks as if an evil spirit possessed my body.
