The men all laughed despite this new challenge. Breed stared at him and then got a call on his cell. “Just a minute.” He turned away and spoke to the caller. Geer grinned at Monster. “So a horse called Iron Man, eh?” Monster did not look happy. “I’m telling ya, there isn’t a horse that can carry my 350 pound ass.”

Damn him! A breeder. Not a wife. Not a mate. I was going to be a breeder. “You mean, the King will use my body, make me give birth to a pup and then what? He will take the child from me and I’ll never hear again about the baby?” I asked and O’Horan said nothing, he remained unmoved, his hands behind his back. “You’ll toss me into the dungeons? Or put me to work at the mines? I don’t want to be a breeder! And if I ever get to have a child, I will not be parted from it!”

“Good girl.” He walked to the door and made sure it was well shut. When he turned to her, he was talking. “You know, it's sad that you came here and lost yourself to the life of the pack and the privileges I let you enjoy.” He looked at her sternly and then continued to speak. “Your primary purpose of being in this pack, out of the hell you were, is to be my breeder and give me pups that will have the powers you were rumoured to have.”

"But not everything." Monty shifted slightly on the bed and adjusted how he was sitting. He looked a little uncomfortable but not because of the question, more like he was just in physical pain from last night. "A breeder is an omega who is used specifically to carry children," Monty said. "It is different from being a regular omega servant. Breeders are selected and they go through a process that prepares their body for pregnancy. Once they are confirmed as breeders they are given to an alpha or a Lycan to carry their offspring."

I finally managed to ask. "I have been searching for a breeder for a long time, someone who can provide me with the perfect offspring. When I saw you at the auction, I knew that you were the perfect match for me." I scoffed softly, feeling a mix of anger and fear. "Use me as a breeder, and then what? What happens when you finally have no use for me anymore? Will you just kill me? It's better if you just kill me now than force me into doing something I don't want to do."
