Jasper POV: My hands flipped through page after page of the documents in my office. Bank statements, hospital checklists, item checklists, warrior statuses. I growled in frustration as I buried my nose in these papers. The added task of omega tasking and party planning has also fallen to me since my Luna was in the hospital delivering her twins. I couldn't wait to see them, or smell them, so I would know exactly who to make an example of to the pack.

Amara's POV The moon hung low in the sky, a perfect, luminous orb casting its silver light across the surface of the lake. It shimmered, a living, breathing tapestry of liquid starlight, its surface disturbed only by the soft, lapping rhythm against the shore. The cool night air, thick with the scent of pine and damp earth, was a stark contrast to the heat that had been building inside me all day. I stood at the edge, bare-chested and rooted to the spot, my gaze a fixed point on the water.

*ZARA’S POV* The Moonwell glows faintly in the predawn light, its waters rippling as if stirred by an unseen hand. The grove is silent now, the echoes of battle replaced by the soft rustle of leaves and the occasional chirp of waking birds. My body aches, every muscle protesting as I kneel beside the well, my fingers trailing through the cool, silvery water. “She’s here,” Selene whispers, her voice carrying an otherworldly echo. She stands beside me, her tiny hand gripping mine, her eyes glowing faintly with the same light that dances on the water’s surface.

“But this pack believes Omegas exist to be crushed. To remind others what weakness looks like.” My hands clenched. “I’m not weak,” I said. Maeve met my gaze. “That’s what frightens them.” A chill slid down my spine. That night, sleep came in fragments. When it did, the Moon found me. I stood in a silver field, barefoot, the grass glowing beneath my feet. The sky shimmered, heavy with stars. “You hide too well,” a voice echoed. I turned. A woman stood before me, her hair woven from moonlight, her eyes endless.

I replied, meaning every word I said. “Well if you're looking for my approval, you have it. Choosing each other under the blood moon will strengthen your bond. You should tell your mother your intentions. I believe she was hoping to hold a Luna ceremony for the winter solstice,” My dad said and smiled. “Thanks dad, I appreciate it,” I replied.

And together, Eva and Luna continued to enjoy the peaceful night, embracing the beauty of both the moon above and the dreams awaiting them in the future. Eva inquired why Luna was fixated on the moon. Luna, a self-proclaimed moon enthusiast, responded by explaining that when the moon is absent from the sky, it feels as if the sky loses its magnificence. Eva smiled at Luna's response and suggested they go to sleep since it was late. Upon receiving Eva's suggestion, Luna rose from her seat and shut the window before settling into bed. Shortly thereafter, she drifted off to sleep.

Moon blew smoke from her mouth and cleared her throat. "This is disgusting. I feel I'll die soon," she muttered, and Lan chuckled. "The smell would have been worse if we had arrived earlier." He said. "Gosh, the smell of meat getting rotten and blood clotting around it as it decays is the worst smell ever. I won't forget this mission if I survive it." Moon added. She threw her cigarette stick to the ground and then wore her face mask. That nevertheless, did not stop the smell from assaulting her nostrils.
