Abandoned by the Alpha King

Abandoned by the Alpha King

When I saw the Moonleaf flowers bloom with their silver glow, I realized that miracles really did exist. “Aren’t we going home?” he asked. “Don’t you want this money, Mama?” He looked at the wallet in his hand. “My baby, this doesn’t belong to us. Taking something that isn’t yours is called stealing. It’s okay to ask for help, but it’s never okay to take what belongs to someone else. Promise me you’ll always remember that, okay?” I said with a gentle smile. He nodded. “I’m sorry, Mama.” I smiled. He looked like a grown man and was incredibly handsome, but the way he spoke was so innocent that he reminded me of a gentle little boy.

Mafia Ruthless 2: Luciano's Forbidden Desire

Mafia Ruthless 2: Luciano's Forbidden Desire

Then, the thought slips into my head like temptation— ‘Steal it. “I have already broken the commandments, what's to say I can't add one more? I'm doing it for a child, ain't I?” I whisper to myself. “It's not actually a sin, is it?” Even as I say it out loud, the words don't feel so accusing anymore. Thou shall not kill. Thou shall not lie. Thou shall not steal. I have already lied multiple times than I can count. At this point, I might be awarded a gold medal in that department. Tonight, I'm standing in a mobster’s house, considering the ridiculous idea of stealing from the cops.

This story has completely ruined me—in the best way. It’s so addictive that I’m already dreading the end. You should start planning your next masterpiece, because I can’t go back to normal entertainment. No pressure… but also, a lot of pressure ...

Stealing His Heirs

Stealing His Heirs

“Innocent? Hardly. Having you as a mother is already its greatest sin! If Yvonne doesn’t want it, then neither you nor the child has any right to exist!” Then, he pulled out his phone and made a single call. Moments later, several men entered. “Take her away. Get rid of the baby!” His voice was flat and cold. Whitney’s face went white. She struggled and screamed, “No! Zayn, you can’t do this! The child is innocent! You can’t kill it!” Zayn’s expression never wavered. His gaze on Whitney was frosty, laced with nothing but disdain. “This is the consequence of your own sins. You’ve no one to blame but yourself!”

The chaos of him

The chaos of him

I frown at him in confusion. “Why would I learn to steal someone’s car??” “You have always been a goody two shoes? You never broke the rules? Not once?” When he asks like that… my mind whirs, thinking back to any time I ever consciously broke the rules. There was the time a vending machine spat out my money after giving me my drink, and refused to accept it even after I took the drink. His laugh tells me that’s not what he is talking about. “You have always been a good boy.”

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

If you looked at it from his perspective, wouldn't you understand his desperation? "But stealing is wrong," Liza argued. "Indeed, it is wrong," Debra agreed. "But from their point of view, stealing meant survival. It meant food on the table. If you were pushed to the brink, what would you choose? Starving to death or filling your belly." "They have hands and feet, don't they?" Liza reasoned. "Why couldn't they just work for it?"

I really like this book but why is it being dragged so much? Debra keeps getting herself in weird situations like the Island kidnapping and then her engagement kidnapping. I get the authors are paid by pages but if it’s too dragged then the readers eventually lose interest and move to finished books

Rejected Twin: My New Life Far Away

Rejected Twin: My New Life Far Away

Kyle's POV Mom immediately retorted in embarrassment and anger, "What do you mean, your money? I paid for your food and clothes, so what's the big deal if I took some of your money? What an ingrate!" That was different. If our family were actually in financial trouble, I would've willingly contributed my money for emergencies. But Mom had bought Kevin something he didn't really need. I raised my voice. "You took it without asking me, so that's stealing! That's against the law!"

Post-Divorce Seduction

Post-Divorce Seduction

Lia dared not sleep or eat even when she felt tired and hungry. She was on the verge of breaking down. Zach sneered. "Now you're scared, huh?" "Uncle Zach, I made a foolish mistake. I know what I did was wrong. Please don't be mad. I'll return the money. Please let me go." Lia wept, looking pitiful. However, Zach was not buying into her act. "Did you ever think about the consequences of stealing the money? You've got quite the nerve to ask for 100 million dollars!"

This&That
Why is the book ending? There isn’t an answer to what happened to the characters. I enjoyed the book but did get a little bit disappointed when the main characters kept repeating the events in their lives but I thought it was a good story line and interesting too. Can it not be finished ?
Harper Blake
I lost my patience after chapter 202. FL is extremely infatuated with ML. ML tries to prove his new-realized love towards his exwife by risking his life countless times. Not only she refuses him despite her lust but also denies him the knowledge that he’s her baby’s father. I won’t read anymore.

Billionaire Secret Wife

Billionaire Secret Wife

“Was all this because she stole a phone?” Angie looked away, not ready to answer to him. He turned to Ava, “You were here when it happened, right? Is this how you treat people for stealing things?” Unlike her mother, Ava raised her head in pride, “This is all part of making the society a better place. My mother detests stealing and she believed that if it’s not curbed when it just started, it will result in stealing something greater.” As she said each word, her eyes were on Amelia who was focused on the young lady.

Juicy

Juicy

He taught Troy where to shower and how to eat and to always stay away from the cops. In the beginning he had asked Blue if they ever ate out of garbage cans and Blue had been fit to be tied. He told him HELL no and explained that there was too much food around if you knew how to look. Thus came his lesson in stealing. Troy was not good at stealing. The stress of stealing could trigger a seizure, he had the trembles and bad tics which made him not the most stealth individual, and since he also wasn't a very fast runner, he would almost always get caught by the person that he robbed. Getting caught normally resulted in a beating.

I mean rob someone?” Mr. Thompson asked in a fearful tone. “Of course not, Dad. Even when I was struggling as a teenager, I never stole. Begged, yes, but to steal?
