Magnus runs to Ander and throws a fist across his face. I'm almost hit but he doesn't care. Ander finally lets go of me. Magnus is about to throw another punch but Ander raises a hand. "Give me a few seconds to show you if it's worth fighting." Magnus turns to look at me and I shrug. He turns back to Ander who has a phone in his hands. A video starts playing. And it's not any random video, because my moaning is loud and clear as day.

"At least I should be better than that insane pack killer!" The crowd draws in a collective breath, the air turning to ice. I stop dead in my tracks. The world goes very, very quiet. Slowly, I turn around. The temperature seems to drop several degrees as I face him, and even the most hardened warriors take an instinctive step back. "What did you just say?" My voice is soft, deadly quiet. Magnus's face is flushed with anger and humiliation, but there's a gleam of satisfaction in his eyes at having finally gotten a reaction. "You heard me. You’re choosing that murderer, that monster over me!"
