Tutor My Heart
My feets settle in, running into the corridor, as raindrops make a mess of my shirt.
My lips lift, letting out a heavy breath. With my eyes rolling in, I suck my breath in, while I dust my pants, running my hands through. A little gasp sips out, with my feet crunching. Spearing thuds spread through my ears, as I stump in. I hear cheers, breaking voices of gladness, and loud talking, which string along, ridden through slurry voices.
“For the grace of God, I hope they aren't drunk, even before tonight's event takes place” I plead, walking in, matching into a merry banter.
