I growled. The moment the word "fire" escaped my lips, an electrifying sensation surged through my body, igniting a fiery energy within me. In an instant, the waitress before me became engulfed in a mesmerizing blaze, flames dancing gracefully around her. The intensity of the moment was both exhilarating and terrifying as the power of my words manifested itself into a spectacle of fire and heat. The air crackled with energy, and I stood there, awestruck, witnessing the unexpected consequences of a single word.

We battle side by side, compensating for each other's flaws. We keep taking them down but they keep coming at us relentlessly, their numbers overwhelming. Fire spreads, licking at the wooden rooftops, casting shadows through the smoke-filled streets. When I trace the source, I find out that the fire was started by some men who had secretly followed the beasts. I don't see them until the fire spreads.

Official. Talia touched my arm. “Nova… I’m so sorry.” I stared at the screen. He’d posted it to shame me. To claim ownership. To punish me for moving on. But instead, something else sparked in my chest. Not shame. Not fear. Fire. I looked up from the phone, voice calm, eyes blazing. “He wants a war?” I handed the phone back to Talia. “Fine. Let’s give him one.”

No lines left to cross. Just fire. And whoever burned first.

Whenever the hunger rose up sharp and demanding. Because the fire didn’t die. It just waited. Always ready to burn hotter.

It almost destroyed us. What we had now was different. This was a steady fire, like one in a hearth. It didn't roar. It didn't consume everything in its path. It needed care. It needed attention. “A boss who’s all greed and no brains is bound to run his family straight into the ground.” The old Don nodded in approval, but then his expression grew a little more serious. “However, it seems this Henry isn’t ready to go down without a fight. After failing to get help from other families, he’s started spreading a rumor throughout the North American underworld.” I raised an eyebrow. “Oh? And what’s he saying?”

"If provoked,that thing can destroy half the earth .",said Leo grimly," And I suppose you can make out how dangerous that vaccine might be , that Ronald had to summon the killer transport." "Where does this transport you? How does it kill you?",asked Marie questionably. "It burns the hell out of you.......It turns your body into a mere skeleton within seconds, if only they know how to use it. And I don't think those idiots know how to." "And you do , Leo?"

I was getting nowhere like this; I dodged her fiery balls of rage. Greta’s chest rapidly fell up and down. The more she let her anger dictate her actions, the more reckless and exhausted she became. The room filled with smoke as small fires began to crackle as they joined together. The decaying wood was the perfect food to fuel the fire. In the blink of an eye, the fire was growing faster and more robust. With the fire spreading and the treated timber on the walls, inhaling these fumes were dangerous. How could Greta, a damn fire witch, be this stupid?

END OF FLASHBACK Mrs Young, with the great eagle she had never gave up easily. The thought of Taylor disobeying her wishes made her even more furious. She gave out a heavily sigh, and walked into her two sons company, lost in her thoughts thinking of ways not to lose such influential business partners, It was almost like gambling with her life when ever she meant business.
