I fail to understand why you are working under someone when you could be running the entire Clarins empire." "Dad, please. I enjoy working for the company. My boss is fantastic," I defended. He raised an eyebrow. "So you are content to use your talents to benefit someone else's company rather than your own?" "That's your company, not mine," I muttered under my breath. Shaking his head, Dad exhaled. "Anyway, tell me, how long do you plan to work there?"

He teased. "No one is an island, you just have to accept the fact that atimes in life you'll need help. So go on, I'm listening." I added, almost in a stern tone. "Are you forgetting something here!" He asked, with a smirk on his face. "What is that?" I asked, pasting a curious look on my face. "The fact that I'm your boss! You seem to have thrown that out the window, when it's not supposed to be the case." He said.

He says, attempting to leave but he stops his movements and looks at the clients who have conflicting moods. " Don't understand the new Boss. She is a woman but she is the ' Boss'. Be careful. Her one word is enough to terminate your million dollars' projects!"

who are they? "They are my men... they will make sure everything is spotless. And before you start arguing, let me tell you that this is my company as well. So I can use my men to help my company and you can't stop me. Ok?" he asked and I sighed. He is right... I am tired... and I keep forgetting that still he has the highest shares and he is the director... he is the boss ultimately.

Is this a joke? I couldn’t answer. Because it was impossible that she meant Alaric Satanas. If it was really him, then why was he my boss? It’s not that I believe he’s a CEO, but let’s say he is—why would he be my boss when my project isn’t even related to drugs or anything about pharma? And if he really is a CEO, why is he here in our department? I’m not complaining about our workplace, but there’s nothing fancy here. Just simple desks and chairs for employees like me, and simple rooms for bosses.
