I said, but there was still no response.
Despite my efforts to hold back my tears, I couldn't stop them from flowing. I was overwhelmed by the weight of my emotions, and the tears came pouring out of my eyes like a river. Each drop that fell held so much pain and anger at my own helplessness.
"I can't bear to see you like this, Jerry. Please wake up," I begged, my voice cracking with emotion.
As another tear rolled down my cheek, I knew he wouldn't wake up soon. But the thought of seeing him like this was tearing me apart.
