“I understand. So, your night is ruined then?” Dillon could feel the urge to tease his best friend. But he still tried to stop himself. “Yes.” Dillon let out a soft chuckle, and if someone might see him, they couldn’t believe that he could laugh and smile. “Her fear is visible in her eyes.” “I see,” Dillon said faintly. Drake pinched the bridge of his nose and massaged his temple. “I see her strong aura on the outside, but she’s weak on the inside. I wonder what her wolf looks like.”

Emma asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Alex's eyes narrowed as she zoomed in on the figure. The image pixelated, but they could make out a few distinctive features. "That's not one of the guards," Alex said, her voice low. "I've seen the security team's uniforms. That's someone else." Emma's mind was racing. Who was this person? And what were they doing in the facility? As they continued to watch the footage, they saw the mysterious figure make a phone call, their face partially obscured by shadows. But what caught Emma's attention was the ID badge clipped to their lapel.

“Greedy little kitten.” He touched me, yet a shiver ran through me. My hands were chained, and I could barely move. “Do you want it?” He teased me without restraint, and a sudden discomfort ran through my body. I could not help lifting my head, and everything went white. “Wake up… Zoe, wake up.” Someone seemed to be calling me. I frowned and opened my eyes. My vision became clear, and I said with a hint of surprise, “Dr. Frost.”

She knew the scent before she even opened the box—it was her mother’s recipe. Her eyes narrowed. There was no way he could’ve known that. Not unless… She stepped into the hallway and glanced down the corridor, heart starting to pound just slightly. Her eyes scanned the flood of bodies—interns in scrubs, gurneys rolling past, a code blue being paged overhead. And then, through the shifting crowd, she saw a mysterious man. He stood halfway down the corridor, half-hidden behind a group of surgical residents chatting near the elevators. His face was obscured by a black KN95, and a baseball cap sat low on his brow, but even through the layers, something about his presence felt… familiar.

I tried using the mindlink but it was not connecting. I followed the groan but found no one. It seemed whosoever it is, has noticed of my presence and gone into hiding. My gaze settling on the blood on the floor, I lowered to a squat, touched it and , and smelled it. It belongs to a werewolf! Before I could react, he appeared behind me and snatched my bow from my hands– he was incredibly fast. And I stared into a pool of the most beautiful brown eyes I have ever seen, but he was bleeding profusely from a gash on his chest and his shoulders.

The darkness of the surrounding forest seemed to close in on us as he led me deeper into the unknown, our footsteps crunching in the undergrowth as we pressed forward. We stopped abruptly when we saw a woman standing in front of a raging fire, her back turned to us and another woman, who sat beside Alice close to the fire. The woman was chanting in a language I couldn't understand. My heart skipped a beat when I recognized her as Alice, and the other woman, my mother, her hair wild and unkempt in the firelight. I couldn't see her face. Alice raised a bloody organ, a heart, which I guessed was from the monster Ryan had talked about, in one hand and a knife in the other.

But as his arms wrapped around me, lifting my body with care, my heart raced with confusion. "I didn’t..." I whispered, my voice weak as blood began to pool beneath me. "I didn’t do it..." Zayn’s face hovered above mine, the fierce mask of the warrior gone, replaced by something softer, something that almost looked like concern. "I know, Ai. I know you didn’t do it." Shock coursed through me. He believed me? But why now? Why, after I had already decided to end it all? "Why?" I managed to ask, barely able to speak.

She glances over at me and nods before making her way to the back room. Packing up my laptop and patiently waiting for the waitress, I survey the room and stop on a little girl in the corner by her mom. Ironically, she has blood red hair the color of the soul eater's and on closer inspection I notice that she has black soulless eyes too. Are there more than one or is she merely changing form? I find myself wondering this and then the waitress strolls out of the back with a bag containing the items I asked for.

The stroke was too neat and perfect to say just a mere scratch. At least I recognized it wasn't Javanese or Sundanese ancient characters. Because I had already known those two even though I didn't quite understand it. This character also didn't look like coming from Japan, China, or Korea. This might come from other areas, or maybe from distinct parts of the world. I had no idea either. Since the limited knowledge that I possessed, my head hurt when I thought too much. "Hoi, why are you silent there, dammit!? Aren't you feel cold? If you want to look for death once more, it's up to you! But don't expect I'll help you again!" Shouted Dimas from a distance.

Her perfect body seems elegantly beautiful as if it was meant for only her. Unlike Melissa, who still had her black Leotard and nothing else. No pants, no bra, no slippers just that! Her red hair had spikes like she just fought with the walking dead! She looks wide like a warrior princess, originated from an anime character. Her big brown eyes look slightly swollen and red, the aftereffect of crying for long. Her cheeks were also red, obviously hot red! Her palms and finger look slightly bruised same as her neck and healing cuts at the corner of her lips.
