I turn to see the man that has been stalking me in my dreams and real life "Tell me this is not a dream" "This is not a dream, Mason. This is reality" "How do I know this is not a product of my mind or just some stupid lucid dream?" "People can't read in their dream and you can ask the bartender if he can see me just to show you are not imagining things" I read chocolate vodka from the shelf behind the bartender and the bartender affirmed he could see the man. "Now that the doubt has been cleared allow me to introduce myself. I am Nuntius Dei."

My vision became clear, and I said with a hint of surprise, “Dr. Frost.” I remembered the scene from my dream and felt a flush of awkwardness. I had just been enrolled in college. Before the semester started, a staff member told me that the dormitories were under renovation, so I was assigned to an apartment by the college. Since moving in, I had trouble sleeping and kept having many dreams. My neighbor, Steven Frost, was a psychologist, so I went to his clinic for help. I had not expected to have such an intense dream during the session. When I thought about the dream I had, my face grew warm again.

I can't do anything about it, nor he can. When the man placed our order, Carter looked at him sharply. I gave him a quick "thank you" before he left without glancing at me. Carter must have scared him so much. "So what about your dream?" he asked eagerly. "About that..." I paused, organizing all the thoughts in my dumb mind. "Um, as what I've told you. I dreamed about you, once. Last night. I saw you... red eyed and fanged." The last words came out like a whisper.

His fantasies, means, this is what he desires to do? Tell me, I am dreaming once again, because this man is a bit more evil than the rest.

“I’m less scared when you’re here. That’s the honest truth.” Something in my chest softened quietly. “You’re scared?” “Yes.” He said simply. No performance in it. He pulled me back to the bed and we sat facing each other, close enough that our knees almost touched. “Tell me.” I said. He exhaled. “I’ve been having dreams. The same one, more than once. It’s been keeping me out of myself.” A dream that would put someone in that state? “What kind of dream?” I asked. “A woman. I can’t see her face. Just her outline. Her voice.” He turned the information over like he was still trying to make sense of it himself. “She told me if I want to know who she is, I should ask my father.”

I said as I look up at the ceiling then smile. I take a deep breath then let my eyes close as I sleep in comfort and lightness. Then, I dream about something happy and exciting YET scary. The only difference of it from my usual dreams back at home is that all I dream is all about Evetora and a mysterious man that I am willing to sacrifice my life to, by covering him from being impaled by a sword. That dream made me wonder... who is that mysterious man? Is that a premonition that I will die in Evetora if I stay here longer or just a mere dream created by my confused and dazzled mind?

For an old man, he sure has bragging issues. His brow arched slowly, as if to ask ‘Really?’ in reference to what I said in my mind no doubt. I frowned deeply, “Stop hearing my thoughts!” I rebuked, for the nth time. I just can’t with this man. “Also, how did you know about my dream? I swear Cassain if you have yet another power at your disposal I’ll lose my fudging mind.” “What if I say…I do?” This sly old man! So, he can read into dreams as well?

Did I get this wet just from dreaming of him? The shocking experience of being sold and that brief encounter that I had with the masked man that purchased me must have haunted me so much for me to dream about him. I’ve had dreams like this before, but this was the first time that the man seemed to have an identity. I must be going crazy.
