Several folders pop up on the screen; all are named with dates, aside from one, which says MILENA.
Not touching the file with Milena’s name, Uncle begins downloading and opening the encrypted files.
Once the system finishes decrypting, the screen flickers, then explodes with multiple files.
Five monitors glow in front of us, each one filled with layers of data: documents, scanned files, letters, security footage, autopsy reports, genome charts, even voice memos. Milena stands up and steps forward, breath catching. I stand too, eyes locking on the first headline that punches across the top screen in bold white text:
