THE SALVATION : THE LEGEND OF THE WESTLAND

THE SALVATION : THE LEGEND OF THE WESTLAND

Ahmet used this time to read the book he found in the abandoned house. He opened the book, and the first page contained the same words of the centaur Jack about blood, God and salvation, and on second page it was written: "Mortal beings with their desires and lusts are the root of evil, all creatures are the creation of one God, but every time he creates a new race, he think that it will be better than the one before it, but the same thing is repeated because of desires, dreams and ambitions. This God created a new race, which is the race of the gods and sent one of them to the earth to be the savior and lead all the races to overcome their lusts, but he failed and he too was dragged into hi

He casts me a cursory glance and goes back to distracting me. I huff and he looks at me again. The he tips his chin towards the book I'm reading . “What is that?” “A book.” He doesn't look amused “I mean what book is that? What are you reading?” “The history of veltrith Dominion. It's pretty interesting.” “Yeah?” “Uh huh. Do you know the gods appeared only once? Like since the breathed things into existence.” “Yeah. We were taught in school. They didn't tell us why though.”

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

Lucian catches a falling star and hurls it back into the sky as a new constellation. Kayo convinces the moon god that stealing the moon is actually his idea. Rowan quotes a footnote so obscure Death forgets why it came. We keep crossing, keep rewriting, keep breaking every legend that was written before we were born. At 00:03 left on the timer, all six stories collapse into one. We stand in the center of the Crucible Ring again, surrounded by the smoking remains of six dead myths. The pedestals are gone. Thunderstrike takes a slow sip of coffee.

The Goddess Warrior

The Goddess Warrior

Meadow lay open across a stack of student files, a cascade of papers spilling over the round wooden table beside him. Mixed among the archaeology and excavation reports were far older volumes—fragile Sanskrit manuscripts and English translations recounting the hymns of the Rigveda, where Usha, the goddess of dawn, was praised in radiant verse. Other texts sang of Durga’s battles, describing the tiger-riding warrior who struck terror into demons and hope into mortals. Some lay open, pages creased as if mid-thought, while others rested in precarious towers awaiting his return.

The Alpha's Myth

The Alpha's Myth

"I had this weird feeling when you introduced me to that group of men this afternoon by the river." My hackles rise immediately, because that group of men were my father's friends. Some of them hold prestigious titles in the pack. "Don't be scared to tell me what you felt." My fingers brush lightly over the skin of her upper arms. "Whatever you're feeling is clearly a gift from the Moon Goddess, it has saved my life not once, but twice." She opens her eyes and turns her head so she can look at me, her gaze on my lips and I bend down to give her the softest of kisses.

asks Syl, a look of disbelief and humor on his face when he hears the title of what Machiv's reading currently. "It talks about the magic that was prominent around the time that Ovid was around," says Machiv, "and utilizes Metamorphosis which catalogued quite a number of the magic that was present." "Is it important to read up on that?" asks Syl, "I mean, it's just theory that you learned, right?" Machiv doesn't answer immediately, and tilts his head, before answering, "I'll show you later." Syl's eyes widen, and then he cracks up, saying, "It's not like you're going to pull me into a closet with a knife, right?"

Hate at First Sight

Hate at First Sight

Ethan ventures. Ryan sets his journal on the desk, "That, Sir, is exactly what people must comprehend first. Myths reside in a bubble of fantasy, but toxicity is more of a bitter reality. Let me give you an example— the notion of sacrifice, as I mentioned the other day, and as mentioned under the umbrella term 'myth' remains mythical as long as it's balanced. The same notion mutates into toxicity the moment one party consistently bears the burden. That's the crucial distinction we must all comprehend…at least must try to."

Now it seems not to be the case. Thinking through her, she begins to tell her good friends about what Olympian gods might have. “Well… According to the legend. I know that they should have many monsters and beasts in control. Also… they should have a lot of goodies such as The Golden Fleece, Golden Apple, Aegis, Achilles Armor Etc.” Aurelia tries to list the artifact from the Greek Myth then she notices that it’s quite a long list so she brings out a tablet from her storage ring and starts to type all the lists as much as she could think of along with their abilities.

The Alpha King's Breeder

“You must be extremely careful. You never know what kind of magic may be inside, and what gods we’ll upset if any pages are torn.” He’d said it in jest, of course. At least I thought so at the time. But he’d been right to be careful with the massive text. Inside were stories of a land lost to time, each page illustrated with great care and skill. Myths and legends of the old gods and goddesses and their trials, stories of their people, their subjects, their heroes and enemies. And their beasts.

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

Corruption

Corruption

She can only differentiate them through their sizes and colors so she has to diligently flip through each book’s first few pages to find out what the content of the story were even about. Proserpina goes through each book on the shelf slowly and mechanically, flips through the pages to try and find… at least something that will catch her interest–there was a story about the origin of soul mates, the concept of rebirth, the rise and fall of Elder Gods, Trojan War–only to no avail. It seems that most of the books Athena has been more on about history, serious matters than what is to be considered anything appropriate for a light reading.
