Name Meanings Felix Novels & Stories

I was proud of what I had accomplished. He was like the sunflower my father had planted on the balcony, growing little by little, and always turning to the sun, smiling brightly. At ten years old, his father finally showed up. He changed his last name to Palmer and chose the name Felix because it "sounded like Felicity". I was happy for him, that he had finally reached the day when he could bloom toward the sun. But before his father could bring them home, the Palmers' enemies found us first.

He looked like he hadn't slept in forty-eight hours, but the panicked edge had been replaced by a quiet, fierce focus. "Okay," he said, tapping the pencil against his chin. "What about Aiden? It means 'little fire.' It fits the Northern spirit." I let out a slow, controlled breath as a minor contraction tightened my stomach. "Aiden is nice, Lixie. But if he inherits the kinetic pulse, 'little fire' might be an understatement. He’ll be a wildfire." Félix chuckled, crossing it off. "Fair point. What about for a girl? Maya suggested Selene, for the moon."

"Mommy, when is elder sister coming home?" Felix asked of his mother, who was busy cooking in the kitchen. Felicia smiled at her kid and replied, "She'll be here in a minute. She went to meet her pal." "Is elder sister's friend that poor girl?" Felix pinched his little nose and asked his mother. Felicia glanced at her son helplessly and said, "You can't label people like that, son. You must not do this to anyone, rich or poor. Use the names we have."

“Is this our son?” Alexander nodded once again casually leaning against the wall. “He is. His name is—” “Felix,” the young boy interrupted, his voice soft and shy as he blinked up at me. “My name is Felix.” The moment he spoke, it felt like a love arrow had pierced my heart. I couldn’t even remember him, but his innocent smile melted me in an instant. “Aww, your name is just as adorable as you~,” I cooed, gently pinching his cheek. His face turned bright red as he squirmed closer to me, looking up with wide, bashful eyes.

Just getting by, wanting to take on everything day by day. As I exhaled another puff of smoke from my mouth, I walked closer to the other Omegas and tried to amuse myself with their ramblings. Hoping that their lives would distract me from thinking about her. Felix is a wolf shifter like myself. While Chase is a bear shifter. Hence the nickname, teddy bear, which he hates by the way. "Well, I'm single again." Felix announced it as if the newspaper’s hottest news. But based on his reputation with the ladies, Chase and I aren’t surprised anymore. “If you have cousins or lonely lady friends, tell them to come to me.”

Felix had fantasied about that day, now that it had come, he would not let go. “I miss you, my baby,” he whispered. Sharon grabbed his lips again and continued to kiss, afterward she released his lips and responded, “I miss you too.” “It's just two weeks, are you fit to have me?” “I don't mind,” she responded. Howbeit, Felix got the message and avoided penetration. “Thank you for loving me,” Felix appreciated after his wife pleasured him. “You are the best,” Sharon responded. Now, they resumed their discussions on the upcoming christening, and Felix requested, “Suggest a name for the baby.”

I couldn’t have thought of better names. “Their names are wonderful, Felixe. Did you think of all of them?” He nodded, planting a kiss on my lips. “Yes. I researched their meanings, too.” He told me their meanings and soon I dozed off listening to his soothing voice. I felt a little better when I woke up, but a dull ache was still present. Felixe wasn’t there in the room and I slowly freshened up. When I went outside my room, there was quite a stir with everyone gearing up for the party. Felixe came inside and smiled at seeing me up.

In fact, he needed that escape. “Sure,” he said. “And I'm Felix by the way.” “Oh, Felix. Nice to meet you.”
