JoJo's POV Four years later... “You're really okay with this?” Aunt Sherry gives me another once over. “Of course, Mom,” I squeeze her stiff shoulders, “I'm social media influencer Jojo Dukes of the KMJ Gone Girls', not psycho stalker Dian Fibarthorn.” “You know we'll call this off the moment you say the word.” Uncle Will chirps from the back of the car. I didn't cook today, but there's a restaurant downstairs that makes Pasta Frittata similar in taste to the one I make."

He seems to be having a pretty good time. "Mind if I sit with you then?" As always, Jojo is the picture of politeness. "Sure," I scooch over, and he settles next to me. His eyes are on two dark-haired girls who couldn't be older than seven, climbing the jungle gym. "Cute kids," I comment, enjoying the way they're hanging off the monkey bars. "They are, aren't they?" Jojo beams. "My girlfriend wants kids one day. She'll be a really good mom."

Jojo began to shake Angel, her demand urgent, "I want sugar in my..." But her words faltered as she caught sight of Lady Leggy, who stood watching her with an unwavering gaze. Jojo's attention shifted, captivated by the enigmatic figure. "Ooh, shiny person!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands like a toddler. She took slow, sheepish steps towards Lady Leggy, her eyes fixed on the elegant gown. Reaching Lady Leggy's presence, Jojo bowed deeply, her small hands reaching out to touch the hem of the gown. "I worship you," she declared, her voice filled with childlike wonder.

Then she hop-skipped over to Vivian and grabbed her hands. “Isn’t this, like, totally awesome?” Her eyes were big and filled with awe. Vivian narrowed her own in response. “Who turned you?” she demanded. Jojo shrugged. “Just some bum. He got, like, everyone. It was totally terrifying at first, but then I woke up with these kick-ass moves. Want to see?” Vivian shook her head. Jojo continued. “We’re, like, totally going to be his army or something. It’s going to be awesome.”

Jenni I looked around the room at my parents and Teddy. It is so strange knowing what I know and not being able to explain any of it correctly. I know that we have to look for the cold ones, and that these particular ones are to be regarded as foes. The question is how do we know which are the foes? Are they all bad? Is there a defining mark or characteristic that will show us who we are looking for? I have so many questions but I cannot come up with any answers.
