Nora’s POV I could barely sit up on the fourth morning. My body burned from within, and my throat felt like it had swallowed fire. Elder Silvarum stood by the window, pouring a thick blue liquid into a clay bowl. The scent of crushed leaves and burnt ash filled the room. I had been drinking his brews for three days, and each sip had dragged me deeper into pain. “Almost done,” he murmured, turning toward me. “Today, the blood either bends… or breaks.”

Then he took two bottles of water and handed one to Mitch. Mitch cocked his head as he looked at the bottle. “I’m staying away from alcohol for now,” Draco muttered. “Still having nightmares from what Hilda did to you,” Mitch chuckled. Draco laughed. “She did not - you know what? It’s pointless arguing with you.” He unscrewed the bottle and added. “But you should know, we will not be drinking any alcohol until further notice.” Mitch snorted and said, “Yeah, right.” But he drank the bottle of water.

After eating the quarter of noodles, I asked for a drink. Dragging the bowl aside, I held my head in my hands. It started hurting again. I should stop thinking. One of the waiters brought a bottle and a small plate as small as palm. And poured some water-like liquid in it. Taking it as a tradition, I took that palm plate and drank from it. It tastes sour and fruity with a weird smell. Drinking it decreases the pain in my head by little.

Soon , she gulped at least 3 glass of the drink with each gulp she took she found herself giggling, laughing and free like a bird but she didn't know that the drink contains a fair amount of alcohol too .
