A Nearsighted Girl’s Journey Through a Horror Game
There was only a small black pattern on it, but I couldn’t make out what it was.
I thanked the twins, then asked politely, “Would you mind letting me come in for some tea? I’d like to talk with you about what happened to your mother… and your enemies.”
Because the truth was, when I first arrived at this horror game and was still standing at the base of the building, I hadn’t just stood around doing nothing.
While everyone else sprinted off to fight over floors, I wandered around the outside of the building five full times out of boredom.
Eventually, in a trash heap wrapped in black miasma, buried under some unidentifiable slime and vomit, I dug out a filthy, crumpled newspaper.
