AURORA’S POV “I don’t like that friend of Arlo’s,” Eudora said the moment we got into the bedroom, but she went straight to the window to stare at the garden. “Oh my goodness, Aurora, just look at how the sun shines on the garden and makes it even more colorful and beautiful,” she added. As though she didn’t just say that she disliked someone. I walked over to the window and stared down at the garden with her. Eudora wasn’t exaggerating; it completely took my breath away. The sum beamed brightly on the fresh and well nurtured flowers and vegetables. Their different colors seemed to agree with each other, making everything just as breathtaking as Eudora had explained it.
