The culinary journals never stayed in the rack for long — they migrated to Elijah's office or to the kitchen or to the small stack beside his side of the bed — but they passed through the rack on their way to wherever they were going. A literary review that had been there for four months and that Elijah was definitely going to get to. This was a running joke between them — the literary review that arrived, was placed in the rack, and remained there, untouched, issue after issue, while Elijah read everything else in the house. The literary review had become something like a houseguest who had overstayed their welcome but was too polite to ask to leave. Elijah maintained that he was saving it

“Did you read the Sunday Times arts section yesterday?” “No, I was taking a day off. What did they say?” “Nothing good. Not only the Los Angeles Times, but we were also creamed in the New York Arts section and Publishers Daily. Here, look.” Anna scanned through the sections. Each one was filled with negative comments about the book and personal attacks on the author. “How did this happen? No one called me for comments. It’s all one-sided. We only handed out a few preview copies. How was this possible that so many reviewers jumped on it so fast?”

Dante asked. "Both," Elian said. "Always both." He looked at the fig tree. "The first reader responses are coming in. Marta texted — three major publications have already run pieces. All of them — " He stopped. "Tell me," Dante said. "They're saying what I hoped," Elian said. "Not what I expected — what I hoped. That it's — that it does what I wanted it to do. That people are reading it and finding something in it that they needed." He paused. "One review said it was the first novel they'd read that made staying somewhere feel like the bravest possible choice."

May I ask dear author how far it is still from the ending? I am just asking because I am waiting for it to be completed first before I start reading this since I am a fast reader and I normally finish this kind of very good stories in 1 seating even I don’t sleep. I am just unlocking it for now

This story is absolutely amazing. It started as slow burn kinda, but gradually it picked up the pace and now it's so good that I can't drop it. More chapters please. I would recommend this book to all werewolf lovers. Riven and Layla, my heroes.

And surprisingly, the country newspaper delivery still reaches the mountains? My curiosity was prodding my mind and I was not able to hold back my tongue anymore as I asked, “Why do you read a newspaper?” “And Raven reads fiction books?” Crowden retorted. “Uh, yeah. Ah goddess, you two surely has some differences huh?” “In preferences, sometimes. He likes fantasies, fictions, out of reality writings. And mines the opposite, I would go for non fictions, news, almanacs, facts, market watch, just what is real in this world.”

The storyline is good, but the grammar is problematic. I hope the author can double check and edit each chapter before publishing it. It's a paid per read book, so it should worth the coins. Readers paid for every chapter and it's not cheap every chapter, so I guess it right to demand better quality

Nice story so far. But the part of fl being royal princess is not yet incorporated in it, yet the story is labelled as complete. Yet u can read as a whole till marked part as u can consider it as completion of a phase of their story.

“Guys! Do you want me to leave? You can do this all day by yourselves. I think you got it covered. You don’t need me here.” They stopped talking at once. We ate in silence for the first five minutes. Then Chaise asked, “How’s your Lit paper going?” “Practically writing itself,” I replied. Denise groaned. “I haven’t even started mine.” Our teacher asked us to write a review of the bestsellers tackling the controversies in religion. I already picked out The Da Vinci Code. I have read that book about a thousand times. Chaise and Denise both said they were lost. They hadn’t even chosen a book to review yet.

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

"It looks similar from the outside." He laughs and I lean across the counter and kiss him and he tastes like coffee and the afternoon is warm and outside the city is doing its ordinary thing and inside this kitchen, everything is exactly and completely right. I am back at my desk by two thirty. There is an email waiting from my journalist contact. 'The piece has been picked up internationally. Four hundred thousand reads in the first week. Three separate media outlets have requested follow up interviews. Two publishing houses have made preliminary contact about a book.'

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

The first review I read was from a literary publication that described the book as unflinching and specific and written with the particular authority of someone who had lived inside the thing she was describing rather than observing it from outside. The second review used the phrase inside view. Not from the methodology. From the book. From the chapter about the Marlowe's dinner and eating the meal alone and going home with every piece of yourself intact. The third review was not a professional review. It was a message in the Aldrich Press reader feedback system, forwarded to me by Patricia. A woman who identified herself only as M. She said she had bought the book on Tuesday. She said she w

The literary press had reviewed The Inside Account across dozens of outlets. Major newspapers had devoted significant space to it. Don had been interviewed on the radio. That level of general literary attention had not returned for the subsequent books, and Don had not expected it to. The second book had been reviewed primarily in the outlets that had liked the first. The third book had been reviewed in a smaller set still. By the fourth book, the reviews were concentrated in the literary quarterlies and the persistent online venues where the dedicated readers gathe
