I walked out of the Cave and then Dynamic Baby crept into my mind. "An invisible Demon and his assistant one-eyes demon is going to attack the south side of Delon this night and they will be on their way very soon" She said. "How did you know?" I asked.

I listen for her squeeky bed and then when I hear it I immediately bolt for the front gate. I stumble around a few steps and then my hands rest on the cold gate in front of me. I pull and it instantly opens. There is something coating the bars that smells remarkeably like blood, but I don’t think about that for the moment and slam the gate behind me. I find the bar and jam it shut locking anyone else inside with the demon spawn. Then only then, do I open my eyes and find a cigarette inside my purse.

Alexander was pushed to the ground by the demons as a lot of thick ropes were caught around his hands and legs, preventing him from using power. I catch Rafe battling it out with the goth girl and Carden punching a nearly unconscious band tee guy. I hold my hand out to the demon, “wait. Just wait a goddamn minute. Okay?” I latch onto the lip of the dreadful tomb, “let me at least get to my feet. You know, band tee guy kinda messed me up.” I watch for a flash of something, acknowledgment...annoyance, but nothing comes. “Damaged goods? Draven won’t be happy.”

Right as they close the door, an ear-piercing screech sounds above us. “Banshee?” Evander’s brown eyes widen, and he grips my arm. Lucas speeds up onto the porch, fangs bared. “Get her out of here!” I shout to Easton. “Go!” He gets in the Jeep along with two other hunters, leaving Ricky and Tom, the young one, here to fight the demons. They’re well-trained and have high-powered weapons, but they don’t stand a chance against the demons tonight. They’re best bet at survival is staying inside the house, and I know they’ll never agree to it. Maybe Lucas can hold them spellbound again and make them think it’s their idea to say inside and away from the danger.
