Rainey Weather

Rainey Weather

Jason said as he cracked his neck. I looked around and I smiled at the change in demeanor of all these wolves. Most were friendly, outgoing, chipper. Right now we looked like a band of cold blooded murders and in a weird way it warmed my heart. I was proud to be leading such a strong army. I saw the first wolf off to the side. The area Jason had chosen was partly on his packlands and partly on no man’s land. His pack was surrounded by hundreds of acres of land that humans avoided thanks to activists who thought regular wolves lived here and needed to be left alone to survive. They weren’t wrong I suppose. We were approaching from the East side of the land, on the Jason’s lands. The rogues we

I absolutely ... love this book. I read it in 2 days because I simply didn't want to put it down. Thank you author and I look forward to reading the sequel once I find it. (It's not listed under your author info.)

So far the story is very intriguing and interesting. There are a few errors here and there but nothing that takes away from the story being enjoyable. It moves at a good pace and it’s not repetitive which is a nice change for this app. The author seems to care about their craft again that is a plus

The Lady in Red

The Lady in Red

’ He responded and I could sense the amusement all over his voice. Suddenly it hit me. ‘Oh my God! am I in the men’s corner? I asked with fear ‘Yes you are' he responded calmly. Something about his voice kind of eased the pressure I was having. Of course, the place wasn’t familiar to me when I entered but I was too engrossed in my anguish to pay attention to the signs. I stood up slowly, unlocked the door, and stepped out only to stand face to face with my Mr. Stranger. The same person I baptized with coffee was extremely rude too. Can today be any worse than it is already?

The Path of No Return

The Path of No Return

Mom packed up her things and waited at the beach with me in her arms. She had been happy at first, telling me stories as we waited. However, as the sun set, her expression fell. With what seemed like her last shred of hope, she made a call on her phone again. This time, no one picked up. I thought I saw Mom smile, yet tears were streaming down her face at the same time. Holding her hand, I asked cautiously, "Are you waiting for Dad, Mom?" Mom shook her head and stroked my cheek. "I was wrong, Yvonne. Never trust a man."

I whispered as I closed the door behind her. She nodded, her expression grim but determined. “I found something. When I was in the dungeon, I remember a door, one they never used. I thought it was storage or a dead end, but I asked one of the older cooks. She said it’s real. Leads past the back wall into no man’s land.” “No man's land?” My voice was barely a whisper. “It’s risky,” she said. “It’s old territory that no pack owns now, abandoned during the rogue wars. But it’s free. Once we’re there, no patrols, no trackers. We follow the riverbed south, and within days, we’ll be past the neutral zone.”

Bound with Shadows

Bound with Shadows

“Look, I just want to return home and the nearest border has been blocked already.” The man hesitated for a while before handing my ID back to me. “I trust you know how to take care of yourself. Drive safely ma'am.” *** No man's land, the forest that stretched between this side of Midnight Pack and Silvercrest Pack. It was called no man's land because it belonged to none of the packs, it was just a free-for-all all forest in between the two packs, free for rogues as well. The stories I had heard concerning folks who ventured into no man's land at night were alarming. Today however, I was ready to

Bride Of The Damned Alpha

I didn't know where I was headed, and it didn't even occur to me where I was. Till I looked up. NO MAN'S LAND. It was then it had made sense to me, right outside our pack borders was rumoured to be a place full of fogs and dense vegetation. It was difficult to see, it was different to smell, I could see the ground below me, but...I couldn't properly see what was in front of me. 'Zorina....' I heard a whisper, someone was calling my name. Was it father, Dame?. No, the voice didn't really seem familiar.

The Alpha King’s Broken Luna

Noah said in a stiff tone. Kane smirked, but Noah wasn’t in the mood for games. "What is wrong? Why are you suddenly breaking your rules?” he snapped. Kane’s expression turned serious, “The no man’s land, Kyren is making a move to have it attached to his land…” The air grew tense. They both knew what that meant. No man’s land had been the route. The one place they used to transport everything that kept them under the radar. If Kyren was interested in that land, it meant that they had… “Fuck, how sure are you of this?”

Shadow Of Noctis: In The Cruel Prince’s Grasp

Shadow Of Noctis: In The Cruel Prince’s Grasp

Zade The borderlands of No Man’s Land were every bit as merciless as the legends claimed. The pine forests had long since given way to a kingdom of barren black cliffs and eternal snow, where the wind didn’t simply blow—it sliced through flesh like countless frozen blades. My warhorse had finally given out. Two miles earlier, it had collapsed to its knees in the snow, its lungs rasping desperately for the thin, icy air. I couldn’t bring myself to drive it any farther. I left it sheltered inside a narrow rock crevice with the last handful of grain I had left.
