Divorce Suits Me Better

Divorce Suits Me Better

“Once. He burned the collar completely. And he brought it to me—held it up like evidence—and said, ‘See? This is why I need you.’” “He did NOT,” one of the cousins shrieked. “He did,” I said firmly. “That was his idea of a compliment. That I was useful for laundry.” “My ex used to leave his socks on the bathroom floor,” another cousin said gleefully, “and when I asked him to pick them up, he looked me dead in the eye and said, ‘I thought that was your area.’ YOUR AREA! Like I had a jurisdiction!” “Oh, I can beat that,” I said, warming up now, and I could feel the grin pulling at my face. “Nate once looked at his grandmother—at Thanksgiving dinner—with the whole family watching—and said, and

Five Years After Divorce, My Ex-Husband Wants Me Again

Five Years After Divorce, My Ex-Husband Wants Me Again

I knew exactly how long it took to build power in this city and exactly what people traded to keep it. Nora had spent three years in my house barely speaking above a murmur at dinner. Now investors were going to wake up tomorrow and move markets because she opened her mouth. Marcus leaned back against the booth. At JFK earlier, there had been a little girl standing in front of me with Nora’s eyes and a foam ball in her hand. I saw her mouth pull down again for half a second. That exact expression. Then the boy across the terminal beside the woman Nora called Naomi. I took another drink.

Second Chances Under the Tree

Her head tilted slightly as she noticed me stir. "Hey," I said weakly. “Morning, sunshine.” She managed to say with a smirk. “Morning,” I croaked. “Well, this is cozy.” Nora snorted. “Yeah, the décor’s giving ‘serial killer chic.’ Love the ambiance.” I managed a weak laugh. “We’ve hit rock bottom, haven’t we?” “Yep,” Nora said, glancing around. “And guess what? No badass headline for us. No ‘Two Queens Conquer Island.’”

She Moved On and Glowed Up — Now Her Ex-Husband and Son Want Her Forgiveness

She Moved On and Glowed Up — Now Her Ex-Husband and Son Want Her Forgiveness

“Quinton, you’re a big boy, right? Big boys face challenges bravely, just like the heroes in your favorite stories.” He sniffled, hesitating for a moment before whispering, “Then, Mommy, if I take the shot, you have to tell me three stories.” Nora smiled through her tears. “Deal. Mommy promises.” With both parents comforting him, the nurse finally managed to give Quinton the injection. He clutched Nora’s hand tightly, refusing to look away from her, terrified she might disappear.

Caught In Desire

Caught In Desire

Nora sighed dramatically. “Fine. If I fail this quiz, just know it’s because of love.” Max shook his head, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “…Or because you didn’t read.” Nora pointed at him as she walked backward. “Negativity! I don’t need it!” Mary pulled her along. “Come on, lover girl. Let’s go and face reality.” As they hurried off, Nora muttered under her breath— “First quiz, then my man. One battle at a time.”

Naraja glared attentively at the orb and. Naraja: “*Sigh*, Forget it Orb~ just lead the way like you’ve graciously, always~, been doing, don’t worry we’ll keep up with y’a~..” Naraja gave Orb a thumbs up with an awkward glint smile on the side to somehow make this awkward interaction proceed. Naraja, sighed again, but this time it sounded longer and more somber because of the fact it was like a talk between him and a mirror with no voice on the other side...well besides one question. Why did Orb always ask that question. Is what Naraja had thought.

Alpha’s Obsession

Alpha’s Obsession

Noah suggested "I know right, thinking about it, why will a family of werewolves have private jets," I said "You know, sometimes your needs look unnecessary to others either because of your personality or behavior." "Was that a quote?” I cocked an eyebrow at Noah "I’m not sure if it was." He responded while staring at the floor bewildered "What did I even say?" He asked "I have no idea." I turned around and looked down at the window, I watched the clouds and how perfect they are although they looked just like cotton candy.

In his eyes

In his eyes

Nora gratefully sipped the water, the coughing subsiding. "Please, next time you want to drop a bombshell like that, give me a heads up," Nora said, her voice returning to its usual composure as she cleared her throat. "Sorry. That's what you get from gossiping," Veronica quipped, taking a seat and lifting her mug. They both chuckled, trying to ease the tension with humour.

Filthy Obsessions. A Filthy Collection Of Forbidden Desires

“You were a very bad boy, Noah. Bent over the workbench, begging—” “I will murder you.” “—screaming ‘harder, Alpha, ruin me’—” “I will literally bury you under this tree.” Nora cackled. “Seven years of cobwebs and you pick the one guy who ghosted you. Classic.” Noah flipped her off and kept trimming branches. Nora’s eyes went wide. “ Tell me everything. Did he knot you? Of course he did. Look at you, you’re walking like you’ve got a baseball bat up your ass.”

This is such an interesting book, and the characters are really good. Jane is that one friend anybody should have, and then Elara who was called barren was finally going to be having her baby. It's a pity her husband had to cheat on her with her step sister. Overall the story is really good.

Honestly I love that she had a friend like Jane, I love her personality. I love how I could feel every emotion you tried to put into words and everything played like a movie in my thoughts. This is such a good read. Kudos dear author...️
