By now, it was dark and Beth was standing outside looking worried.
“Finally, you came back.” She told me, looking nervous.
“Of course, what did you think would happen?”
Beth let out a sigh of relief while I removed the purse from my dress pocket and handed it over to Beth.
She grabbed it and opened it, then she gasped. “Where the hell did you find this?”
I walked past her. “Is that enough for you to treat my friend and I, as well as to accommodate us?”
“Well, of course, silver is very valuable but it'll be difficult for me to exchange it on the werewolf market as a human unless I disguise myself. But whatever, you and your friend get a pass. You owe me nothing.”
