Becoming Luna
I tasted the air, heart hammering as my wolf pushed harder, faster—calling out into the dark like the forest itself might answer.
Where is my Luna?
The thought hit me like a blow.
“No,” I snarled aloud, skidding to a halt. “She isn’t.”
She wasn’t my mate. She wasn’t my Luna.
She was a mistake I had buried years ago.
And yet—Selene.
Her name burned through me, raw and undeniable. My wolf howled, grief and fury tangling in his voice as the truth I’d been fighting clawed its way to the surface.
This pretense, this denial..it was over.
